I just don't get the desire to do drugs. And I mean, I also don't why I'm ok with some but not others (caffeine, tobacco etc). Like, to me it just seems weird the older I get to hear people saying they still want to do heroin for the first time.

Yikes. Growing older does not relate directly to growing smarter. While there is nothing wrong with having a beer or even smoking something "light" saying "I think that chasing the dragon would be a great way to pass this half hour" is a little daft.

Converse Jack Purcells are now very poorly made. I pulled my new pair out of the box and noticed instantly:

-No Jack Purcell logo on the tongue.
-The blue tip on the toebox, which used to be recessed, is now flush with the shoe. Looks off.
-The comfortable, durable blue insole of old is gone. ****** and uncomfortable white has replaced it.
-No metal tips on the laces.

And of course, after all that cost-cutting, the price went up. This makes me really mad. Returning these things tomorrow.

Ugh, I was going to get a new pair for spring since last year's are approach yard work status. Superga it is now.

Twitter. I've just been chewed out by some minor local celebrity becuase I complained that I was sat next to a fat person for 16 hours on an aeroplane. Apparently their right to eat six meals per day overrides my right to have more than 10" of seat that I paid £x,xxx for.

**** fat people and **** apologisers who believe its a "disability".*

*with the exception of actual medically-induced obesity.

Evidence?

We can start here:

My god Stitch, I just noticed you already have 40 thousand posts.

i would like to request that the FCM validate this assertion.

also, you may want to move that comma back a word, unless that is how you meant it.

We can start here:

No No No No No - no proof of causality. All we know is that blackhood is upset about losing his precious chair space. FWIW, if he were in SW&D, those 10" would be more than plenty for him and a puffy jacket to spare.

In fairness to the good ole U S of A this was not a US flight and I'm 99% certain the ***** in question was not American.

Remind me to sap my holiday destinations with Brad in future...

Also Thomas I'm fairly sure no man in their right mind would volunteer to be squashed for more than half a day, especially when they are playing through the nose for that pleasure.

Course I meant it. The FCM has forced me to comb over my posts 30 times before submit. Such is their influence that I'm OCD now.
