Some dope (30 feedback) on Ebay has a nice Brooks Brothers shirt up for sale. He wanted $200 for it originally, it goes for like $215 on the website. Obviously it didn't sell. Now he's got it up for auction, and it's at $105 and is still under the reserve he set. I'm betting it never goes over the reserve, he relists it again, and gets like fiddy bucks for it.

Copenhagen, Denmark has the loosest fireworks laws in Europe, you can shoot as much as you like between 1/12-5/1, completely ridiculous.

I'm at the gun range shooting a buddy's glock 17 and I'm atrocious.

It's so hard to get a feel for how to aim the gun. I feel like shooting a pistol accurately is so much harder.

The stance you take while holding a pistol is also a lot more uncomfortable.

Tomorrow I'm going to stick with the AR-15.

It's not good to be a cat or a dog there...

Still better than being in South Korea or China..

    Lol, yeah

Heard a story a while back about a couple, who had brought their dog to Thailand on holiday, while at a restaurant they asked if the waiter could get the dog some water, a little while later the waiter came with a plate of food and no dog.

apparently they have a international fireworks competition every year and here are this years winners:

Here are the winners of Pyronale 2013 held in Berlin:

    Gold: Team Dragon Fireworks (Philippines)
    Silver: Pirotecnia Zaragozana (Spain)
    Bronze: JoHo Pyro (Finland)

looks like you're dog is experinecing Finland's fireworks golden era. CONGRATS!

side note: every year during xmas and new years in the phillippines they show public service announcements warning people about the dangers of fireworks (and celebratory gun fire ). its mostly posters and TV commercials showing gratuitous gore of peoples mangled hands and limbs, and lots of crying parents standing over dead children hit by stray bullets.

    GOOD TIMES!

Woke up this morning to a FB message from a good friend's girlfriend telling me he's missing and asking if I've heard from him. I hadn't, so I reached out to a couple other good friends from that group who are closer to him geographically. They also hadn't heard from our friend, but they had confirmed through the girlfriend that he'd returned home drunk but otherwise no worse for wear. However, all of this led to one of the guys discovering that "missing" friend might have, unbeknownst to us, all but completely ruined his life. On top of sucking to see a friend royally screw up, it doubly sucks because he's a really nice guy who has dealt with a lot of personal demons, and he seemed to have his shit together despite appearing to be the type who might not get it together when we were younger. I guess not.

The unsung heroes are the street sweepers who have to clean all that brown paper up the next day. It's like a war zone with all the scattered remains of "snakes" and "cows".
