Today I am wearing a short-sleeved shirt that is pretty tight along with shorts that have a looser fit, to where I feel like I am decked out in the System of Dress.

the wife and I took the dogs back to the offleash paradise near acadia. it was raining pretty hard, but still enchanting.

then the saltwater mosquitos started annihilating us. the fuckers were hardy as hell - even though my wife and I had pants/raincoats, it was low 60ºs, and heavily raining the mosquitos were flying into our hoods and biting our face, ears, neck relentlessly.

Great, just witnessed a theft... now I have to wait for the police to make a statement I guess.

Started raining the moment we got here and apparently won't let up until just after we leave. I don't understand how these mosquitoes are still flying about. My party is getting eaten alive. We're still going kayaking tomorrow tho

I'm tired too. And my summer every-other-Friday-off schedule comes to a close this week. One more 3-day weekend...:(

Fuck. I cannot find a sweater that fucking fits. I want a slim sweater, with extra long arms, a crewneck that is relatively small in diameter, and I want it to be in a nice thick wool with a subtle texture. Why the fuck can't some purveyor of sweaters offer me one of these? I don't want a fucking anchor on it, or a big red stripe across it, or buttons on the shoulder, or a stupid shawl collar. Capitalism is broken.

Gap/Banana Republic usually have that shit for a reasonable price, albeit probably not yet. I know they ain't the creme-de-la-creme of the sweater world, but whatever.

    My brain is fried.

I ended up having to wait around over three hours for a police officer to show up last night. It was so bizarre, not only did I once work with the thief, but I also knew the victim whose phone was stolen. I just can not understand people.

Basically it played out like this:

I go into my favorite coffee shop to work on research, and I realize I once worked with the dude sitting next to me. We exchange small talk for a bit before he leaves, on his way out he snatches a girl's phone. It was pretty awkward.

I hope the police actually charge the guy.

Now that my day's tasks are completed (work), it's time for me to express my views in a spirit of honesty: I wish people had a mind to understand how bad they sound when they say "Where you at?"
