I needed to go to bed early tonight. Somehow it is 12:30 and I'm listening to Slim Whitman and reading episode recaps of season 4 of The Wire, and I have no idea how I got here.

I do not call you every night a lot, so that is basically a false accusation. I don't even have your number.

    This is not surprising.

Spinoza, especially if it is early in your philosophical reading will be difficult as balls to understand, and will remain so probably forever. I remember taking a Philosophy of Language course my last semester and reading some of the stuff from Meinong literally hurt my brain. It was also my first foray into analytic philosophy and some of my poor past performance in logic was coming back to haunt me but still...

There has been a disturbing trend in turdburgling around here...guys now are not content with just trying to force the locked door, they also have tiptoe and look over the stall door to catch a glimpse of you with your pants down :fu:

Everywhere I go today there seems to be a noisy rabble of latinos. Celebrating Kierkegaard's birthday, I suppose.

    What a fucking weekend.

Father in law was in town this weekend. Friday (very early) morning he wakes up vomiting everywhere. He has a lot of health issues (on dialysis, had a heart attack about six months ago) so unexplained vomiting is a pretty serious thing for him, so off to the ER we go. Spent all day friday at the ER. Thankfully it was nothing serious, so they sent us home Friday late afternoon.

Saturday morning my wife wakes up feeling sick, having apparently caught whatever her father had. Spends pretty much all day in the bathroom.

Last night, I came down with the same thing. Was up all night vomiting, and got an awful back ache on top of it that kept me from sleeping even when I wasnt puking my guts out.

Feeling much better today, but still just out of it--weak, not feeling quite right, headache, etc.

    I need a do-over on this weekend. I can't believe I have work tomorrow.
