I see some stuff in here that I find very strange. I'm sure it's just a difference in taste. However, this I love. Different tastes aside, I applaud it.

Thanks. I think part of it is embracing the "this is cool, I should wear it" practice, and another part of it is getting rid of stuff that fits neither of those criteria. I don't enjoy really enjoy owning clothes that are ultra-specific, if that makes sense. Took me long enough.
    Thanks!

What would you consider ultra-specific clothing?

I guess I should have left it at "fits my lifestyle," because I'm talking about pieces that only go with specific other pieces, or that would require you to buy a completely new wardrobe in order to wear them. Like, I'm not going to buy a pair of sleek black patent boots because they'd go with one outfit i could put together - but I might buy black cowboy boots because they'd (theoretically) go with almost everything I wear on a regular basis.

I have some cm/cm casual stuff, but since that's reserved for specific purposes I don't really mind having it around.

edit: @nahneun weirdly, I think a lot of CCP would fit in my wardrobe pretty well

G&R boots are looking great. How long have you had them / how often do you wear them?

Got it. I was just thinking in regards to my own wardrobe what I would consider a novelty piece like that.

Yeah. I guess for some people a floral jacket and sashiko jeans may well be "ultra-specific."

I got them last year at some point, but don't totally remember when. Autumn? End of summer? I was wearing them a ton, but now I'm having extended issues with either collapsing arches or not knowing what fucking size my feet are, so my right big toe is now brushing against the front of the shoe which absolutely infuriates me and I've ended up wearing them less.
