    Thanks go out to:
    -chorse123 for the pocket squares
-Manton for the wedding tie knowledge/advice; you're right, shepherd checks are the nec plus ultra! I decided to go with the pink one for my lovely bride's gown...

Finally, huge props to the dude who did my alterations: man, you rock! Alright, your turn now; let's see some wedding pics!

Thanks, we had three of our friends taking pics that evening; they're all amateur photogs. One of them loves taking details/objects and candids. The shoes are EG Pelham.

Mais oui! Et juste pour toi RJ, il s'agit d'une autre union WGWAG! [IMG]

    Congratulations! And great tie.

Thanks! The groomsmen's are Aquascutum (I got the same one for myself as well), while the pink one I ended up wearing is Tumi. All picked up at C21 last August.

Congratulations! Or rather, felicitations et meilleurs voeux pour cet heureux evenement. Quand et ou sera la lune de miel?

It had to be postponed- there was an EG trunk show at L'Uomo today. The shoes won.

Thanks RJ! We were initially thinking of going out West for a week of snowboarding. But now, we'll likely just drive down to Vermont for a week this January instead. My wife has never even been to Jay Peak. I always wanted to ride at Stratton, Killington, etc. Also, we'll get to tour the Burton factory.

Aside from that, my parents' good friends have invited our family to their place in Naples next June. [IMG] While extremely tempting, it would mean spending a week with my mother. [IMG] That, coupled with the fact that I'd rather wait for my wallet to be considerably more padded before I visit all the shops the big-timers frequent make it unlikely that my wife and I will take them up on their offer this time around.

My wife thinks most/all my shoes look alike, which is sort of a mixed blessing in the sense that while she may not fully appreciate them like you doods do, she also only has a vague idea of many I actually have and doesn't usually notice new additions! [IMG]

My only vice. It was quite a surprise when I saw my best man had a tie bar!

    Word.

Now will you be so kind as to share a few of your own wedding pics with us here? I'd love to see what kind of kit the Senior Members had put together for their own big day. Would also be quite useful to all the guys seeking wedding attire advice.

I actually think the two pics of you smoking is quite good. Very Tony Leung like.

    Nice tie, nice suits.

Could you not quote the entire selection of pictures next time you have two words to add?

On that particular day, I might have been more handsome than Tony Leung! [IMG] I know what you mean though, with the greased back hair and all... Btw, very regal looking avatar; an ancestor of yours?

    Nice pics.

    Thanks!

    Nice tie, nice suits.

Thanks! I believe someone had posted about the difficulty of finding a wedding tie that would pair well with suits of different colors. I think I managed to pull it off with the one I chose for my groomsmen; one of them wore a b/w Glen Plaid with blue overcheck while the other had a black suit with pinstripes. While I opted for the pink tie for myself, I could just as easily have worn that white/navy/pink shepherd check with my charcoal suit.

    Nice pics.

Was it REALLY necessary to quote all the pics?

Don't think it was necessary to quote at all.
