    heaps of great fits!!
@ghostface killah and @myshoeiswet bringin da ruckus! :slayer::slayer:

@in stitches, those are thumbholes on the sleeves. the trousers, i think they were around $400 or so on sale at farfetch from last year. i would check out sz, sufu , ebay for deals. zam barrett (zfactorie) would also be a good place to start for something comparable.

The average person cares much less about how you dress than you do. Provided you're not wearing a DvN paisley suit to meet your stodgy accounting firm's CEO it's unlikely how you're dressed will draw more than a second glance

It's sort of amazing how Japanese pieces from the 90s and early 2000s still collectively knock us off our feet and remain on point trend wise. Seriously impressive

I think the sock-tuck makes this work. Gives it a whole hiking-type vibe.

@Bam!ChairDanceThanks for the feedback - the jacket is a little boxy + I have it unbuttoned & my hands pocketed so it makes it puff out a little more than normal.

@brightorangetrousers The pants are actually cuffed like that at the bottom, no sock tuck!

that is good info. i tend to often wear a lot of the same color, or shades of a similar color. id say its because i like it, but it may also be for lack of imagination at times, or fear of pushing the envelope. worth keeping in mind.

i do almost always find good inspiration there. :)

thanks, good stuff. ill probs bookmark your fit so remember the pants.

@Caveat, mind if I ask what shoes you're wearing with the rugs? Been looking for a pair of nice loafers/slip-ons that will go with a wide variety of outfits...

if someone gauges irl opinions > SF opinions, why bother getting feedback here at all?

i mean, its all different POVs in the end, and there is no right or wrong, but if someone cares more to look good in the eyes of most regular people who get fashion cues from the mall, magazines and celebrities (and that is all good and well), why bother here?

if someone is going to post a fit, get feedback, and say, well all the stuff you guys like looks dumb to most people and this here fit that ya'll dont like, most regular people love it, then really what is the point?

I could almost replicate that fit, item for item. Weird.

Not really digging the socks or shoes in that one though.

Part of dressing is to fit in. One can enjoy pushing the edge while knowing that one has to tone it down in most other places. Most of your fits don't fall into this category, but there are many places I wouldn't want to be dressed like some of the great posters here. And on some other occasions, I wish I could channel them as I'm getting dressed.

thanks guys! @Syeknom what don't you like about the boots? color? shape? i thought the bulbous toe went well with the wider fit of the trousers.

that is is fine and well, but it does not answer my question. why bother getting feedback if you intend to dismiss it because you think irl most people will like what you are wearing?

i mean, just post in the pics only thread and then jerk off or cry in silence based on how many thumbs you do or dont get. but no need to waste peoples time with feedback if you consider it to be valueless anyways.

+1 to sugar... though it shouldn't be surprising to attract more attention from the average "on the street" person.
