Pretty sure the knit is Stephan Schneider.

Would so be down for a DC SF meetup if it happens when I'm in town.

    Thanks dudes!

Lol no worries stitches. They are just black waxed jeans (I don't like stacking my jeans that much). But next time I will try to wear a pair of shoes that will evoke your emotion! Perhaps something pointy :D

i think the fit would probably be better with some jil/raf trousers instead of those jeans... and from previous fits, i know you own those :foo:

my issue was more the shoes not jibing

trousers up says casual / shoes say formal. might just be the heavy polish

ss bee in wine looks great though

If you guys are still talking about steve's outfit and the little incongruities, it is suppose to be a smart outfit where you have a derby shoe that pulls the fit together. I would not substitute boots (perhaps a dress boot), and definitely not sneakers.

What is there not to get? If you seen enough runway put together by designer who have more tailored clothing, I do not see said outfit looking too out of place.

FWIW i really like it steve (hard to believe you lift though :foo: but I'm just 'miring you). Sort of makes me regret selling my Raf derbies, too, but a good substitute for anyone that cares is the Allen Edmond Leeds model. i actually prefer the latter as it fits better than the Raf. The last itself should generally fit most feet well unlike the slightly more elongated last of the Raf derby. AE Leeds is also a blucher technically if you care about those details.

Nice steveoffice . Schneider is great. I have those same Raf clodhoppers. I think they look good with pegged pants. Cool eames Eiffel chairs too.

Yeah, I agree with this. I wore the loafers because I knew I was going to be driving at least a couple hours each day and they are the most comfortable for that. Suede chukkas would have done the trick as well, and looked better, but I just don't have any at the moment and it's a purchase I have planned for early next year.
