Unbuttoned OCBD never looks as good as you imagine, especially if there's just a crew neck underneath.

I've gotta say, Casey's one of the best examples of a transformation I've ever seen, and you're talking to a guy who's seen Pretty Woman.

seriously, just, great job guy, you're consistently looking solid.

solargarden I really like both of those

Ken P I feel like you wear EG and those kind of brands in a way that's pretty unoffensive but also pretty bland. I found a bunch of old pictures of me from my EG days and though I had some cool pieces I definitely styled it in a super safe way––blazer, untucked shirt, slim jeans, work boots, etc. I looked... good? I don't know, EG is kind of workwear yohji so I think it's best styled that way. Looser everything, cool shapes, weird footwear, soft, worn in... That's the brand at its best, at least in my opinion. Grow out that hair and embrace the funkiness. Or not

I think Acne might have something like that in their current collection? Or check out whatever LaGarçonne has. :satisfied:

this dude scrubbed all his pics from the forum after I suggested his blog belongs in The Terrible Fashion Blog Thread. I feel a little bad.

lol i noticed that too. I never thought his fits were that bad, but I hated how his pictures always had the camera titled so he was going diagonally across the photo, so for that reason i'm glad.

Hey Ken! What sort of stuff do you like? That fit is uninteresting but inoffensive. Nothing wrong if thats what you like but if you wan't feedback it might help to know. In the end though just experimenting and trying different things out is really the best :D

Yeah agree that Ken P's latest is very non-committal. Mix of several elements that don't really go together. Shirt sleeves too long (like 3" of linen?), loose EG blazer, but doesn't feel intentional. White sneakers for some reason. Feel like a lot of the "I'm somewhere between menswear and workwear" fits fall into this trap. Funky hair and boots could definitely help but...

    Thanks Stiches, canstyleace.

@ B!CD and who: agreed about the tee.. I was hoping that the colour blocked tank would offer some (visual interest) but...
@koy I did try them on with slim apc ps and they were fine too :) but went for comfort in the end..

Casey I know what youre aiming for but I don't think the tee and shirt are getting you there. might need sth like an acne Granville linen type tee. And either like what snow suggested, a sheer/light shirt.. like those from Ann d, or maybe a loose linen shirt would still work better than a cotton ocbd.

Thanks. You guys are right that it needs something looser and lighter and drapier as a top layer. I'll be looking around.
