I like you NYR, but why do I get the illusion that you're "always trying too hard" as the kids say.

I'm wearing jeans and a navy tee shirt, what the hell is "trying too hard" about this?

Yeah, but I felt like wearing red pants, so I wore red pants. Agreed that navy pants would look great with the other items, though.

Sometimes I think NYI looks a bit stiff and uncomfortable in his works fits, but he looks extremely natural and comfortable here. Not really sure what the criticism is.

hold up, you all didn't like the red pants? I thought they were pretty sweet. brings to mind apc lookbooks but in a good way. though i would have swapped the boat shoes for maybe walnut derbies or something.

+1, the boat shoes definitely bring it down a notch, but no complaints otherwise.

I like the NYR fit, although I stand by my earlier comment that the W+H shirt would look better up one size.

welcome to styleforum. your transformation is imminent.

jeans, hoodie, polo, and puma sneaks all need to go.

replace with toj leather, slim raw jeans, white tee, and cps or gats to become a sf robot.

Read more before posting pics. One weekend isn't enough time.

Yeah, I think a pair of suede bucks would also have worked with that fit, too. I don't have many casual shoes at the moment, so the boat shoes were all I had. Thought Alden cigar LWBs and the like were a bit too formal. Appreciate the feedback!
