I'm moving to Connecticut in the fall so that's my excuse to upgrade on boots / gloves / scarves and all that fun stuff :) In other news, bizarre cold front down in Texas today.

Barber didn't quite understand what I was trying to get done to my hair... Oh well, it'll grow back.

i finally found a barber that understood what i wanted with my hair. every time i go to a barber i ask for 1 on the side cut the top a little. they usually do a 1.5 or 2 on the side and chop a lot off the top. i think the key was telling him i wanted high contrast

First cold day in months which was nice. Unfortunately my picture is as bad as a camera phone picture, sorry. Trousers are charcoal, not blue.

shah - nope. That's an Elena Dawson blazer (she used to work with Paul Harnden and designed his blazers but you probably knew that) so they are quite similar. However, she's changed the cut a little and the one I bought is in amazing raw silk fabric. Oh, it's also longer than the above blazer.

I haven't seen Paul Harnden use the same fabric (yet), most of his blazers are in great wool fabrics. This Harnden blazer is pretty substantial and good in todays sub 60 weather. If i'm completely honest the cut of Harnden, especially the narrow shoulders, works better on me but I absolutely love the Elena Dawson blazer because of the fabric.
