I feel your pain. I'm around 20lbs heavier than you, but wear a size 46. Not much you can do about it. Try to wear shoes that blend in with the pants (as you did in that fit).

Furo's fits are getting better and better, but when I look at his pics I can never help but imagine he's sauntering out of an outhouse after having relieved himself.

    this:

Well the wedge sole is what makes the shoe for me - otherwise it's just another suede brogue boot - NTTAWWT of course

Yep! The best way to describe the thickness would be somewhere between linen and a lightweight cotton poplin. The fabric breathes really well too, so I think they'll make great summer pants.

Oh, well I'd trust Willy on this over myself. I thought GDL is the one that specced the UMDR and just got that recently, but he has a lot of TOJ so who knows :)

    ^ This
    ^ This too

They're one and the same - the UMDR is the same pattern as the VTG DR (no lapel snaps, no belts, only one zip for whole jacket, snapped cuffs) but in non-VTG hides. My first was black lamb, this one is whiskey calf.

I believe they get slotted into the MDR section in the gallery

This is good but i feel like it needs some boots, possibly in color more similar to the jacket.

I got tired of never having a shirt the right fit or length for wearing untucked so I designed one. Though after washing I feel it's maybe 1/2 inch shorter than I'd like.
