for the most part. there are a few kids who dress faux-prep (boat shoes, vineyard vines belt, pastel shorts and j.crew pastel button down) who probably get looked at as dressing better, but whatever. I just wish more guys put emphasis on dressing decently though. like chicks can wear leather shoes to class but when I wear my bucks people act like I'm dressing up for something, which gets annoying. Same thing with other pieces, like blazers.

where do you go to school?

ready for UGGs strikes back?

and yah, I know what you mean. A lot of dudes that wear blazers are usually pretentious douches though.

**** uggs. my roommate has muggs haha. they are comfy, but so damn boring and predictable. like the boat shoes of winter footwear. actually know they're way worse. because they're uglier and aren't even good for winter because they're suede. lol.

you wouldn't happen to know any of the guys on the cycling team would you? (Alex Weiler, Russ Reiter are two that I can think of off the top of my head)

still murder most people at my school with that, thats how low the bar is set and how I don't want to look so out of place. I just want to relax at school too, just don't give a **** anymore. I'm sure you look better than most at hopkins also..

lulz, funny how much Balmer and MD generally get dumped on here. It is tough being jammed between NY and DC.

I stopped wearing it to school cuz I just got sick of negative attention. The crowd at my university is very ******* prep/fratty. Just feel so out of place when everyone is wearing sweatpants to class with school logo **** meanwhile I come in wearing combats like I'm gonna shoot the place up.

just prefer to do my own thing when I'm outside of school. It doesn't scare people off too...gonna graduate soon anyways so I won't have to be around anymore.

So if you don't wear it at school...when the **** do you wear it? Are you a full time student?

School is one of the few places i could imagine someone getting away with that. You're not gonna be able to wear it to most jobs.

Synth, that is sick sick sick

+1 nice

Take it. I visited when a permanent position opened - I loved it but I wasn't ready for that plunge. I would have taken 6 months in a heartbeat.

why can't you wear it at school if you wear it on the weekend?

There are no dress codes at uni, so the only reason you wouldn't wear that **** is because you want to fit in. But you sure aren't gonna "fit in" on the weekend wearing that **** either, unless you're not actually gonna be around people - in which case you're not actually really wearing clothes; when noone's around i walk around in the nude.

No hate, i'm just trying to understand. Uni is the place i experiment and wear whatever - and then post experimental pics on WAYWT to everyone's great amusement. When i actually care to look good I wear tried and true ****.

When I was in Uni as a student and later a TA I actually wore interesting clothing!! Now I have a job so I can't, ehh
I'd wear Rick sneakers, a dickflap, and a leather, whatever. It's cool, everyone is weird in college, man

Yeah, thinking very strongly about it. The main criteria for selection is English ability, and since I'm one of two native English speakers here I have a bit of an advantage
