The rose version is a beauty. I do wish the crown was a little larger, but other than that its a very nice watch.

Love the Langes lately! Lange Datograph Auf/Ab is my grail watch - I've never felt anything special for Patek. Sadly it is at least a few years (or decades) away from my current means. I'm making do with a 16600 Sea-Dweller at the moment.

Thank you Dino, much appreciated for all your help aswell. I thought it might be more fun this way little more off the ''standard'' AP. Since my watches are so classic and if we now can call it boring now... I was after something much more crazy and this did it place in my collection.

Time to save up for a IWC or Patek :(

sounds like a great collection. i would give rolex more credit than just a camry though. ;)

indeed. i saw it when i was in wempe. its a real beauty.

lol, no worries. i agree that they do make some boring looking watches, but when i see them in person, the wonderful finishing takes over. sometimes, boring can be good. :)

and thanks, i hope i can make it happen, too!

Rolex' new styling actually works well on the GMT. Wish they used that case on the new Sub. Also if it were me I'd get the bracelet brushed, but all round it's a beautiful watch.

    iPhone 4S.

I barely use my SLR these days. Speaking of which, I was digging through my photobucket and find some pics.

I kinda miss my Sub-C. But in the end, I prefer the GMT over it.

I agree 1000%. For some reason, the GMT looks a lot better with the new case. I think that is why I flipped the Sub-C for the GMT. I'll get the bracelet brushed eventually. I'll wear the PCL until it gets really worn out lol. :embar:

Just for fun, decided to take a couple of pictures tonight. This was the only one that turned out even moderately well. I am an abysmal photographer.

Unfortunately only 25 made in the rose gold. There was one or two at Antiquorum a few years ago but haven't seen any lately.

hi gaiz. my brown calf OEM Panerai strap literally fell apart today. after years of use, so it did its time.

where are all the Paneristi getting their straps now? i've only ever used ABP in Paris, but i dunno if there's someone better/more convenient these days. looking for a croc in the brown family with interesting details like contrast stitching, etc...

Thanks Warren, they are pretty much perfect for me at my age and where I am in life. I find that the combination can pretty much take me anywhere!

I honestly think that I may hold off on purchasing anything for a while, and save up for something that I really want. I have said that before though...

And yes, the panerai is much less proportionate on my wrist :)

ABP is great, but what kinda money are you wanting to spend, and what kind of quality?

well, i was just on ABP now, and the MTM croc straps are 280 euro!! i don't remember them being anywhere close to that much.

looking for and willing to pay for quality, but maybe i can do better on the price...?

Maybe Camille Fournet? Some of the Hirsch gators aren't too shabby either, especially the nicer stuff. Unfortunately, for the best straps though you are kind of relegated to CF and ABP.

    For example:
