    Thanks for the reply!

Thanks, Dino. I will most likely be diving with it, so I had planned to at least have it pressure tested locally.

If I had purchased this watch brand new, I would not want it refinished. Since these are not my scratches on here, I want it to come back from service brand new then it can start it's second life. I'll have to plan a trip up there in the coming weeks, then.

Catch a flight to Greece and let us all know. I've heard 15-20% on Rolex (cash).

Quote:Since when does Omega have a facility in Penn? Nice to see if they're adding facilities. Had only ever heard of Secaucus NJ and Seattle WA I know Rolex has actual watchmakers in NY, I've met a handful of them, not sure what exactly they do at the HQ though, I'll ask next time I see them.

I ordered some Speedy straps and buckles from them circa 1990. So at least 25 years. That area of Pennsylvania was once home to several of America's great watchmakers. Lancaster, where Omega SC is located, was once home to Hamilton..

    Make a guess?

Would love to share my thoughts before making this purchase. Will update when I have the time. Sort feel apologetic to the watch as
a phone quality pic doesn't do the watch justice.

Since I'm not able to spend thousands on a watch right now I was looking at something classy and not expensive.
What do you guys think of these watches?

Looks genuinely cheap and nasty. Lots of better choices on the PMW Thread. Would personally go for one of the dressier Orients at that price point.

Do you know of any Orient reseller here in the UK? or a web shop? Didn't have much luck looking on Google.

At that price point, look at Orient, Seiko cocktail time, Christopher Ward Malvern or Frederique Constant Classic.

Found a local deal for this trillium classic Sub two liner E serial. Just came back from full service. Almost full kit.

Really like and thinking hard to add in rotation with Batman for now. $4400.

Do it Steel, do et. My only issue with 5 digit references is the bracelet, it takes a bit of time to get used to older oyster bracelets after you wear the new models. That said, there is something about 5 digit references, they look more like tool watches whereas newer models are more luxury items.

Amazon.co.uk probably the easiest. Make sure it's fulfilled by Amazon for better protection...

All I can do is enable :)

This would also look amazing on a vintage leather strap.

    Novelty: I hate you.

Mark: I had a prompt and painless UK delivery from creationwatches.com in Singapore.

Steel: get it. Also, NATO? Also, I want if you don't.

Recently took an interest in quality watches. Purchased my 1st "real" watch, a Junghan Max Bill Chronoscope with the Milanese Strap.

Absolutely love it, big step up from the Uniform Wares watch (151) I had previously.

Hooked and already making a list of grail items to start building my collection :)

    WHY NOT?

Seems like a steal, Steel! (sorry)

And besides, a used Sub is the easiest flip in all of watchdom, if it turns out you don't like it, or if you maybe grow tired of it later for some reason.

    Very little risk, IMO.
