I never had anything of notice on mine.
Absolutely love this !!!
Ouch.
Regarding transportation, my ride home from work took me through the Royal Palace park. On a crappy city bike. Crappy, but the workout is all the better for it. For a nominal yearly fee, I need not worry about parking my bike, and can choose to take public transport either way. As a bonus, I get to dodge hapless tourists and ring the bell at pretty hipster girl riding in summer dresses. Oh, and have a nice view of my chosen timepiece. Today it was the Oysterquartz
well, it certainly does not happen to everyone, but they are more scratch resistant than scratch proof, similar to water resistance. neither is a guarantee, just some extra protection.
Is something stamped into the case side? What?
At the risk of causing the heavens to rend asunder: I prefer the 39mm version for size. But for a 36mm Rolex I'd pick the plain old Oyster, and do away with those irritating Arabic numbers. The new grey one is lovely.
A different perspective on my BLNR. After 7 months of love, the polished center links are all scratched up. Does it make me love it less? No. What's to point of a fine time piece if it doesn't fit into your life? Any of the RO owners care to share what the bracelet looks like on the underside of their wrist? I've wondered what those look like as the finish on AP's is top notch and brushed just so.
Hmmm... I could get behind this attitude. I've seen some interested in vintage Omegas and Rolexes that seem pretty reasonably priced and already have some of the dings of age. Maybe I'll get one of those, bang it around a while, and see what I think.

HUGE fan of the Milgauss. Very nice!!
Ah, ok. I don't think mine had that, but then it's been a few decades since it was new.
