This is the best watch ever made. It's a La Crosse Technology WT981L atomic watch. It blows all these other watches away in terms of accuracy.

The dual readout digital - analog watch... because sometimes you're just too drunk to tell time

I have this watch, on a brown crocodile strap. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a good picture of it on my wrist.

Wait, so that 11 year old kid didn't actually kill you? To think we have a 5 page thread about it!

very nice. I might buy a portuguese in the near future. What happened did a truck ran over it?

I had to sell it.The watch cost £19,000 which is almost a years wage for me and I could not afford to keep it.When I bought it I was single and living rent free at home.I now have a son a wife and a house.

Accuracy is, to me, the most important aspect of a watch. All La Crosse watches are deadly accurate. They don't lose time. You can't say the same about a Rolex.

Man, you did the right thing; I hope I would never have to be in that situation. Although regularly checking this thread pushes me closer and closer... [IMG]

Of course you can't -- and nobody has -- but that isn't the point of a mechanical watch. Some people appreciate the ingenuity that went into designing the tiny little machine that sits on our wrists. We also actually enjoy that these are devices that need regular maintainance and attention. Besides, who the hell needs to know what second it is?

[IMG] That one looks a bit too heavy.

Did you not say accuracy was the most important thing to you though?
