They still need to look right though, I'm not the kind of guy that can wear tight denim, it just looks bad, but most "relaxed" cuts still look pretty slim.

Having lived in Central New York when I was younger, I feel for you.

My advice would be to stop living in Syracuse.

On a similar note, can't wait for the shop to open up in Chicago this year.

Probably a long shot, but does anyone's local uniqlo have this cashmere blazer in a Navy Large? Willing to pay for proxy and shipping fees. Or if you have one and want to let it go I'll buy it off of you if the price is right

Sweatshirt blazer? Could look cool in a streetwear fit.

considering they both make a range of products, this question makes no sense.

I'd like to vent some issues I have with Uniqlo products. For the price, its not worth caring about, but still.

    (1) Chino shorts - a few inches shorter without a taper in the leg
    (2) Casual shirts - longer length, longer collar
    (3) Tshirts - slightly shorter sleeve, lighten the marle grey
    (4) Jeans - deeper pockets
    (5) Chinos - a slimmer fit similar to their jeans. I also wish they'd make slim fit chinos in the same fabric they make their straight fit
    (6) Suits - wider lapels, longer jacket length
    (7) Nicer activewear generally

I've thought about trying to email customer service but inevitably it would just disappear into the ether.

Seems like your issues are generally related to length, perhaps you have a slim and lanky build or Uniqlo caters to people with shorter lengths (Japan? No racist).

They both make blazers using different kinds of jersey fabrics including terry loop stuff, but they also make blazers in non-jersey fabrics, so...sometimes?

I think I've reached the point where I'm between a medium and a large in Uniqlo button-front shirts, so my option is to either go with something that's gonna be too tight if it shrinks at all in the wash (not ok, obvs.) or go with something that I have to get tailored pretty damn heavily if I want a non-blousey fit.

edit: Also, sweatshirt blazers rule. I'm wearing a Todd Snyder x Champion jersey blazer over a WvG flannel and am indescribably cozy.

Same imo. Socks are the bomb, casual shirting like ocbd on promotion are a steal, ULD is completely functional and good for the price, lots of denim types and if you find the right one for you its really really good value, merinos are really good value. Steer clear of all outerwear, unless u get some collab on sale
