I've bought into Uniqlo hype and I'm glad that the webstore finally opened but after trying on a number of tops and bottoms I still feel like they favor towards mongoloid-centric cuts. I have a very typical built and found that arm holes are a problem across a lot of shirts and jackets. I do hope with their expansion into NAmerica that they begin to offer measurements more suited for caucasoids and negroids. Will probably still kop sox.

lol uniqlo is from japan, what do you expect? already a japan medium is a non-"mongoloid" small

have you seen the stats for an "average" american vs an "average" azn person?

Sizing up isn't a solution when correct proportions aren't there.

I know Uniqlo is Japanese. I'm just sayin'. It might become a problem for them if they'll want the white bro customers who are accustomed to H&M, BR, and alike.

I realize that no brand can fit every customer but if Uniqlo wants to take over the world they need to expand their least common denominator as far as fitting goes.

I believe they already modify their clothing for foreign markets (see: more room for 'mericans).

Although the shirt I have from Taipei fits exactly the same as my US OCBD in the same size.

Does anyone know if the length measurement for the down vest on the Uniqlo site is from the bottom of the collar or the entire garment? I'm trying to figure out whether the XS would be too short for me (I'm 5'10'').

Thanks

Anyone know if the cardigans still have grosgrain tape on the placket? I had two great Uniqlo cardigans with that, but that was years ago

I just bought a merino cardi at the Union Sq store and it's lined behind the button placket, but not with grosgrain, just some simple twill ribbon. Still a nice touch.

I also ordered a black blazer and pants from the webstore last night. I've been really happy with Uniqlo blazers fit-wise. Small is pretty much perfect for me.

Hard to tell from the pictures but do any of the heat tech socks look "dressy" at all? Or are they all sporty type socks

If anything uniqlo is true to big, I'm a medium or large in virtually everything.

That would probably make me an xs-s in banana republic lolz.

Their stuff is the worst fitting I have then again if you want perfect textiles and cuts you need to spend dolla dolla billz yall.
