Say, who was looking for more Republican elephant ties? It occurs to me I have a nice RT, red (state) with little alternating elephants, blue and gray, I believe. Now listed here, in the most informal of sales threads.

Will sell or trade for donkey tie.

Looking for a black grenadine and black knit right now.

Drake's and Hober are the two I'd consider going with if I were paying full price, which I don't mind doing but thought I'd post here first.

I have this recent Hickey Freeman Canterbury in 46L that I decided I don't really need. It's 3 button, side vents, pick stitching, Loro Piana super 130's.

Long time ago, Randomore gave me an awesome deal on a pair of Samurai selvedge denim. I thought breaking them in would be a fun adventure.

    I was mistaken.

First, it's taking far longer than I have patience for. Second, the weight of the denim is sufficiently heavy that they literally chafe me while I'm trying to wear them. Finally, they're SO DARK. If they're blue, they're the darkest blue I've ever seen.

So I'm officially throwing in the towel. I will not be making money on this deal; you will inherit the deal Rando gave me plus my shipping costs. Thread and trade regulars will get preference, but anyone willing to give them a good, permanent home (NO FLIPPING) will be considered.

They are tagged 36, I believe, and measure around 38 x 34. Exact measurements, details and pictures via PM.

They may be, but that's not really my issue. My problem is that they're black as midnight and hard as granite. They're also much baggier than my current tastes run. I suspect the intent is that I soak them and shrink them to fit me. But I'm terrified of ruining them. It's just all way too much stress, and I'd rather they go to someone who knows what they're doing.

Well, they sound neat. You might try just asking your tailor to slim them down, which as far as I know is not a cardinal sin.

After two plus years of SF bombardment, I'm about to begin my first raw jawnz venture as well. Fingers crossed.

    First post here, looking for:

A lot of high quality workwear style oxfords/plaids/chambrays in about an XL(around 17.5 neck, 37 sleeve), RRL, japanese, american heritage stuff.

A Barbour Beaufort/other styles in around a 46?(not sure about the sizing)

very unlikely, but would kill for any white bucks in 14, can't find any affordable ones online

    Cheers
