Hey Mike, just FYI they have two shops on that same strip. If you are coming into the strip from the Danube, the first one you get to is the small one. A few hundred yards down is a much larger show room.

It can be a bit overwhelming, so many beautiful shoes. Take your time, in the large show room they will let you try on as many shoes as you like. I work with a great gentleman named Reszo; he sized me properly, and gets my MTO shoes sent back to me here in VA. Have fun, Budapest is amazing!

    great!

I love the combination of plum museum calf with burgundy suede. I'm gonna try a pair with that combination as well. I'm thinking of either a V cap toe Adelaide or Balmoral.

    Thanks Stephen

Looking at the Google map of the area the Buday shop seems to be on the same street too - is that correct?

Yes, almost next door to each other. I also went to their shop and tried on several shoes.

However, they were not for me.

Wanted to share the new collection of boots. Good thing it's not that warm yet here so I can still rock these. [IMG]

Now I know what I have to do for my next purchase. Lol. Very nice. How many boots did you already have before such a grab? Congrats...and as they say "wear in good health".

Thanks! I don't have a huge boots collection. I think I have about 6 before these. These are actually samples for a GMTO.

Well 10 pairs of QUALITY boots is not small my friend. Even within the category of gents who appreciate fine footwear, boots generally lag behind shoes to a significant degree. Did you polish up the two pairs on the left or did they come that way from Vass?

Fully agree...boots make up only about 1/10 of my collection...although I plan on changing that pretty soon. Lol. What are you sitting on Roger?

True! 10 pairs quality boots is not small. There's only a select few that I choose to wear during the warmer months but they get abused over rain/winter.

The suede/calf combo came polished by Vass, the scotch grain/calf combo was polished by me.

I make it a policy not to count. [IMG] No, seriously - I'd probably scare myself. [IMG] More than 10 but not a lot more. I actually sold maybe 3 pairs of boots last year to help make sense of the world and restore balance in the Force.

I think my next pair will be Vass though - those tan / grain boots Jok posted fill me with want.
