Give the shop a call. If it's a non in-line item (aka anything on tannergoods.com) then we'll happily take a phone order.

Last time I was there I grabbed dinner at Bamboo (sushi) and I swear they were offended when I asked if they had any fatty tuna because it wasn't on the menu...then they gave me this whole spiel about how they are the only sustainable sushi restaurant ever blah blah...then my friend asked if they had yellowtail, which provoked more passive aggressive anger. How were we supposed to know? HOW

Just found this thread, been living in Portland for 2 years. I live in Alberta arts which is basically a menswear desert.

Currently living in the Tanasbourne neighborhood in Hillsboro, but this is just a short-term thing (six month lease) until I get to know the area better. Am thinking about moving into Portland proper. Most people are telling me east of the river is cooler.

EDIT: Also, I'll be working in the NW District soon.

Somebody find me a mid-century modern house somewhere near Duff's and me and my wife will move to Portland.

Good luck on finding any house in that area. Especially if you go a little north into fremont area.... Its literally crazy, I've had multiple clients buy/sell houses all in that general area. People who are buying, literally need to put in an offer that day and people selling houses sell within 48 hours. Housing right now is crazy here. One of my clients, still hasn't been able to buy a house she likes and she's been looking for 6 months

and to Ahjota, If your going to be in the NW district try renting in ABC district. I know a few people who make not so much money and live there.

I'm from San Francisco, we practically created the housing bubble, i can't image it to be worse than here.
I have a friend which is a real estate agent in Portland. She only sells mid-century homes in Portland, kinda crazy, i don't even know if that type of agent exists in the Bay Area.

Oh hey, didn't even know this thread existed. Right now I live in "inner" SE, but really close to Powell. Recent employment in the Pearl, however, has been making me think about moving to a place in the alphabet.

I blame you californians for the stupid housing situation in portland right now. haha jk. But I would def take a trip up here and actually search for a house you really like and put in an offer, if you are serious. they go fast

Pretty good. I've been for breakfast once and dinner once. It's a nice, albiet familiar departure from Andy's other spots in town.
Dude, did you not read the menu? They have items on it which they highly reccomend you do not order because they're not sustainable. Stupid restaurant. I like the concept, but it's overpriced and the preparation is whatever. I'd much rather spend my omikaze munneh at Boxer Sush. It's my favorite neighborhood spot that I can't afford to eat at often.
    Welcome to town.
Dude, don't do it. Inner SE is whats up.
