Are the top pair blue or black? Look black on my monitor.
Prefer that pair with the cap-toe to the lower pair.
There's nothing wrong with em, they just have a more common look.

    very dark blue...
does suede stretch much? i have never had any suede shoes before. and they are a bit loose already. i have to tie them almost completely tight.
i hope insoles make up a bit of the room.

My understanding is that chukka's should fit loose like gym shoes and not tight like dress shoes. I can't even seem to get the shoes I want to stretch, to stretch out. Even when I use a stretcher. The suede shoes should not stretch much at all.

suede does stretch. I would size down 1/2 a size because most C&J boots I have owned run half size too big. Plus its suede, if its slightly small, they will stretch accordingly

Suede stretches a lot actually. I've had tight boots that stretched and became kinda loose.

Not my experience... I went down a half and had to get them stretched. My feet need sizing for width rather than length tho.

well this of course depends on if the suede is lined with calfskin or not.

these are unlined I am pretty sure, they were so loose that I can compeletely tie them up as tight as possible in my smaller foot and it is still loose.
So I put a insole in and now on my larger foot it is alittle tight across the top of the foot but I think it will stretch.

These boots are so boss that I have to make them work [IMG]

    Alden Plaza 7.5
    Alden Barrie 7
    AE PA 7.5

Ralph Lauren private sale has started... Crockett and Jones for Ralph Lauren cordovan Darlton/Marlow shoes (penny loafer, tassel loafer, wingtip, plain toe blutcher) are on sale. $405.45 pre-tax. I already own two, may as well get a third. :slayer:

    dear Crockett & Jones fans,
Does anyone know if you can buy Crockett & Jones shoes in Edinburgh Scotland? I'm spending the Easter long weekend there and would love to pick up a pair. Thank you and enjoy your Easter weekend.
