Ha, that's weird. I just bought some Rokin boots (pictured below) earlier this week. Only thing is that a tiny (and I mean tiny) strip of leather has peeled off. Never saw that happening before. I don't mind the odd mark but a little annoying to see that on a new boot. But I do like to look of those you have there, where will I find them?

    I'm sorry I even responded. He's probably a troll.

Looking for a recommendation for boots. I'm looking for a pair of black, somewhat dressy, 7-8" tall lace ups. Willing to spend about $500. Quality is important. Don't want anything that looks too "work boot". Here's a photo of a some RL boots, which are close to what I want. Just think I can get better quality for less. Any suggestions?

Epaulet will soon be making boots close to below. There will be side zips and they are discussing possibly no eyelets. The boots will be 8" and $295 and be ready mid october. Check their thread for updates and final design pics.

http://www.sierratradingpost.com/tr...?filterString=trickers~b~1917/&colorFamily=03 I own these and they are great. With one of the additional 30% off coupon kickers they're a steal, too.

Pretty happy with my footwear rotation going into 2016... would maybe trade a pair of mid-brown boots for another pair of Tricker's, maybe a suede or roughout. Wish I picked up one of those low leg logger boots End did last year :(

Any nice chelsea boots recommendation? Looking for a more rugged and casual design to go with jeans, chinos, etc. Thanks.

Extending my shoe trees so couldn't resist taking a family shot. Not included: 4 pairs of sneakers (Buttero, Epaulet).

Any thoughts on Thursday Boot Company? Saw them online and they look pretty nice, and very affordable at $199, but thought I'd check here first and see if anybody had any opinions.

By the way new to the forum but have been browsing for about 3 years, thanks for creating such an awesome destination for fashion advice!
