Someone take these off my hands. I'll sell them at cost + shipping. Not sure of the brand, but NWT, unhemmed and made in the USA. Fabric is a light peach cotton, perfect for summer, though slightly see through. Double reverse pleats. 34" x unhemmed.

I sold a flag 30~ years newer than that one to a museum for over $300. You'll do well--just make sure when you photograph that it doesn't touch the ground because that's a serious no-no.

While I'm at work, @Koala-T is clearing out the stores in town, so I had to hit a couple on the way in this morning. All N/A
So glad there are still some real true thrift stores in town. This would have been 9x this at GW

Damn man nice grabs. Looks like you had more luck than I had yesterday. Left the office around lunchtime and hit 8 stores...a few measly shirts to show for it.

I did manage to get in a minor altercation with a lady at a store I drop into maybe once a month. Not one of my prouder moments.

She was near the ties head buried in her phone with a full cart in front of her. I started going through the suits (which are next to the ties), and she immediately jumped in front of me and started throwing arm fulls of jackets into her cart. Pissed me off but I bit my tongue and moved on.

When I wandered over to the electronics at the back of the store a few minutes later, she was there going through every jacket label and scanning her phone. Obviously I knew this was her plan, but seeing it in front of me was too much to not say anything. To put it lightly, I told her off and ended the conversation with "no sweat, I see you grabbed a bunch of garbage anyway."

I realize this shit probably happens to you NYC / L.A. guys pretty frequently, but this is suburbia Kansas City. It's not like you're going to come across 10 Savile Row suits from a maker you're unfamiliar with. Checking the eBay app quickly at the rack is one thing - loading your cart aimlessly when people are at the same rack BEFORE YOU is another.

Had some time to take pictures this morning. This is the only thing that I've found in a few weeks that's worth posting.

Vintage Jos. A. Bank raw slubby silk blazer. 3/2 roll, MOP buttons, patch pockets, slim sleeves, lightly padded shoulders, great color, fits me like a glove.

I'll also add to the LVC Linda PSA started by richnet in case some of you are still on the fence and because who doesn't love denim porn.

After seeing those pics that sansimeon posted, it's a good possibility that Linda scored a large batch that includes factory seconds. If you're looking for quality denim in a fuller cut, I think $60 - $65 is worth the gamble.

Anyone have an opinion on if this PRL tie is a grenadine? I am really bad at figuring it out. [IMG]
