Some ties. Mostly from an e-thrift that I ended up leaving a negative on. You can't claim no stains on any tie and 4 out of 5 have stains... Still cheap enough to flip.

NWT... I didn't even think to check condition. Three holes. Going to turn into a cat sweater unless one of you guys wants it. (Large).

    This one was thankfully okay.

After two years, I finally found one of these. Never wanted to pay full price. $12 was fine with me. Even came with some free vintage goodies. Does shoe polish go bad? Some of these are unused.

It amazes me, some of the stuff people 'donate'. At times I come across things and have to look around thinking "this cannot be real". I truly want to know the back story to some of the things I see, and yet, some of the things I see do not compare a little bit with what I've seen you all find.

We can move this to pms if it makes it easier, but I would look at some very cool Omega Seamasters from that period. A ton of different styles and can be had in good shape from $250-500 on up all day.

Do they actually use it? If not, who the hell collects vintage dishes?

Best place for that Pyrex stuff is estate sales. Unfortunately it's also highly sought after at estate sales. Donated ones often get broken so yeah.

After seeing someone else post recently, I was eyeballing Hislon brand on eBay - some pretty cool old deco designs and affordable Swiss-made. Nacar is another Swiss brand to check out, purely for looks, not prestige. Obviously, these are not Rolex, Omega etc - we're talking $100 +/-.
Tsovet has a Swiss movement, still making watches today in a classic style, sub-$200. End has one for £169 - non EU customers save 20% plus free shipping thru 2/20.

hah! my mom too, with her milk glass and carnival glass collections.
I had a hella Pyex, Fire-King and other lesser known brands collection, been on the lookout for ~ 20 years, and NEVER saw that pattern in person before.

There is nothing else on this planet that defines 1993 more than that piece.

Where is Nat? I hope he didn't get attacked by an army of overgrown mice ala Stephen King's "Graveyard Shift."

I really want to see how his American Picker style day has gone!

While we're on art...any ideas what this might say?

Thought it might be a monoprint but turns out it's just a regular offset print. Still looked kinda cool though.

As a Sneaker guy/collector/buyer, these 1977 Nike Cortez were an amazing find.
