    Good morning!

Long time reader/lurker here. Wondering if anyone here can help me identify this maker?

I've seen this label being bought up previously by another member questioning the maker as well to no avail

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thx in advance

I don't know if it has any flip value, I just think it is interesting as it is from the American School in The Hague, Netherlands.

Hey y'all what's the most cost effective way to ship heavier coats via USPS?

here's a random thought..... is postage THAT expensive??? because you could pretty much pay a guy to travel between cities on bus. dropping items from place to place. like a courier. if the bus tickets were cheap enough....... would that even work? just a random thought.

    Baller!

I ship all big/heavy coats and similar using the USPS "Large Mailing Box", which measures 12" x 12" x 8". With online / eBay shipping discounts around 40%, they usually ship crazy cheap - like - $7 or $8. Local PO's don't stock the boxes - I ordered a stack of them before autumn arrived. Have used them for wool peacoats, long wool jackets, puffers etc.

indeed he did. which prompted me to wonder...... would sending a guy to deliver be cheaper than postage on heavy items? like a full suitcase?
    - return ticket, room to crash at the delivery spot and breakfast. less than paying for 40+pounds to be posted?

how expensive is it? 40 pounds for example. coast to coast. vs a bus ticket and hospitality.

not denying he had a legit question. it just gave me more questions.

    Seriously??

A 40 pound package could be sent for probably $40-70 (I'm guessing based on what I paid to ship a bike to Las Vegas). You don't have to feed the box or put it up in a hotel or pay for a return ticket.

Thanks for this! As someone who has been selling light things it was a bit of a shock to have to pay $11+ for a heavier sweater and so on. Noob mistakes. [IMG]

Next up, how to ship suits and blazers so they look pretty upon arrival and don't cost an arm and a leg. Will search the ebay thread here for that.
