The Loro Piana shake is still fresh in my memory. Only brag-worthy LP piece I've ever found (others have been just shirts and some cotton trousers).

    Oh, and :lurk:

You should thank frenchy for giving you permission to scavenge in his wake. So nice of him to leave this dated trash for you. Oh god, those tumblr posts still give me the douche-chills.

The stores are dead. The broadening of sales plus a general backlash against the frenzy.

Is a thing. Much like most cashmere (assuming it is), it's a bit overpriced

I suspect it's worth a dime for every penny it cost me. We'll see!

Good luck! Quick google tells me the $350 was prolly retail.

    flip talk
Checkaflip puts new sales at $245 on average at 6% sold.

No idea about value or age. Japanese hand painted on silk paper. Can anybody translate?

Black Friday haul from the same 2 consignment stores that my last few hauls have been from. Same 2 or 3 donors as well.

    Tod's for me (I think).

These were pretty cool. Keeping the tie. I don't have anything like it currently. The canali is too big for me -- Size 42 R but it's very nice. Also found some less than interesting things, some casual J. Crew stuff that I'll wear this summer and a Banana Republic charcoal suit in my size from a few years ago (before the lapels were so skinny). Fit so well I had to get it. Will be good for travel.

That's beautiful, wish I found cool art like you guys, my attemp this day wasn't bad. Found a nice Oxfford tuxedo but due to a stain in the front and some linning issues was left it behind. Also a Caruso navy sportcoat. Instead pick up some nice books.

Another highlight... I'm having fun cruising Rack stores at 30% off clearance tags...

Nothing too great today, mostly fodder. Savers was having a 75% off bottoms sale today, and they let me stack my 30% card on top of that, so bottom to top:
plain old PRL but with tags and made in usa, RLPL that for some reason was $4.99 BEFORE the discounts, PRL made in italy and Mabitex
    [IMG]
These pants are sitting on top of my pile of fodder, some nice stuff though, and all the thrift stores were having some sort of sale today, so it was fodder day for me.
