I'm sure you'll enjoy it. My next door neighbor drives a cls63 and loves it. I was out looking sunday at a E series wagon as my official thriftmobile, but still deciding. I like the Audi Allroad because of the car feel but space to carry stuff, but was hoping for the better mileage of a diesel.

I've got a lead I'm chasing at work with the San Antonio Spurs. I don't follow basketball or many sports at all for that matter, but my boss and the owner of the company are B-ball fanatics (which is the main reason I'm going after this lead so hard, to make them happy). Anyway, we're going to get to go down and meet with them at the AT&T center in a month or so, and I'm bringing my bosses with me. I know we'll get to meet the GM, and I hope there will be some players around as well. Even if we don't close, my place at the company is sealed if I get to introduce my bosses to some NBA guys.

Been down due to complications in surgery for a bit, but took a shot on a couple pairs of ethrift boots. Anyone have an opinion on Vane x Sebago boots?

So far so good - nice long drive last weekend. I'd thought about something more thrift-friendly (roomier) but since I spend a relatively small amount of time thrifting, went after a daily driver-type. The wagons are nice, though I've always had a thing for older Volvo 240 wagons. Best of luck in your search!

We looked into the new Allroad earlier this year but were kind of disappointed to see they only offered the 2.0. Granted with a tune you can really get a lot from that engine, I was hoping they'd offer a bigger engine with more power without having to mod it.

Honestly I'm not sure what they are since I've never seen this type of button before

Yeah, we looked into the Q5 too with the 3.2 but I read up that there is a big issue with carbon buildup on the 3.2 that were a huge pain to deal with. Not bad while under warranty but once it's out of warranty it would have been both a huge PITA and expensive. We ended up with a Infiniti FX35 and couldn't be happier.

I think that's the date on most Italian-made tags in this level of suiting.

^^^^ That is an awesome jacket. The buttons look like they could be some type of horn or antler.

I think that's the date of the manufacturing regulation. Law number 883.
