IMO (and having lived it) that style peaked in the mid to late 80s, along with MTV. I would think that it might have been considered a collectible, and thus the tags left on. The denim jacket was emblematic of the 80s rock & roll culture in itself, and the addition of the MTV logo is, well, iconic. I think the use of the flourescent colors indicates 80s, rather than 90s, also.

Same store yielded another Paradise Found shirt in my size last night. And a pair of NWOT Zegna charcoal slacks in 34. Unfinished, tag bits still dangling off in places.

More importantly, my wife came along and found stuff for herself. She hasn't been out thrifting with me in 10+ years.

Bonus (partial) thrift fit: hiked Nihahi Ridge here in Alberta yesterday and a friend got a cool pic of me.

I was there (80's) as well and agree - this jacket would have matched my Wubbas sunglasses collection perfectly. Think the donor was a Viacom employee - was sitting next to two Lee denim jackets, for Cinemax and one other (Showtime or Movie Channel - don't remember) which I opted not to grab.

Another set of Gold Buttons spoo? Those look similar to the gold ones I found! Great style.

They aren't stamped 14/18k but have some kind of marking on the back. Passed the magnet test, and are heavy as hell. have that right "clang" to them. Taking them to get checked shortly, fingers are super crossed!

I literally have the exact same buttons on an Oxxford blazer.

Also has anyone seen an Oxxford made in Italy?

I don't know if it's a thread first but found some men's Christian Louboutin bedazzled slipons in the wild.

If those are real, you've gone jackpot. However I would have strong, strong doubts. Maybe better pics from non-mobile?

    Is the bottom taped?

The bottom is taped on one, the other the tape wore off and there's some wear. I'll post some better photos later. Any tells for real vs. fakes?

Not yet it's still a new acquisition. I can confirm it passes the magnet test though.
