Return trip to one shop yielded a couple returns today. The pair of Wendells (first pic) are gorgeous. The shoe on the left is cleaned and polished while the one on the right is in the condition I found it after pulling it from the bottom of a massive bin of jumbled shoes. The tassel loafers need some TLC but will clean up well too. Sad that neither was my size but so be it.

Congrats, Barrel! Enjoy it! -- Couple stores today. Few nice things. Start off with these sweet wooden Samuelsohn hangers. They wanted way too much money for the items that were on them, but I talked my way into a pretty good deal on the hangers. I'm slowly trying to replace all of my plastic wide hangers with wood ones. Don't know why; just like them better. Which reminds me: I have TONS of shoe trees and wide plastic hangers. If you need some, get at me with something that covers shipping plus a couple bucks per pair/hanger. Anything reasonable will do. [IMG] These are ethrifted. Hoped they were Edward Green, but looking at the heel (wasn't pictured) they appear to be Grenson. Can anyone confirm? [IMG][IMG] Couple shirts [IMG] A belt. It's embossed leather, but it's still Trafalgar. [IMG] Some ties. [IMG] RLPL cords [IMG] Didn't recognize the brand, but there's plenty of handwork here. A few stains I hope will come out with The Method. [IMG][IMG] And then there are these. I bought these against Spoo's advice. Or more accurately, before it came in. I will not share what I paid; it was obscene. But there are some threads that put them at Lobb level, and I wasn't about to let that opportunity pass me by. Size 9 and available, if anyone is willing to cover my outlay. [IMG][IMG] Edit: Check the original pricetag on the footbed. [IMG]

If anyone is a 42S or R with shorter arms and looking for an instant entry level suit collection of Jos A. Banks PM me. Found 9, yes 9, suits today on 50% off day all from the same donor I am presuming. 8/9 are all traditional conservative, gray, pin stripe, herringbone, etc. with the exception of a glen plaid. I haven't measured all 9, but you can find the measurements for one of the suits below.

    Jacket:
    Chest - 44
    Shoulder - 19.75
    Waist - 43
    Length - 30.5
    Sleeves - 24

    Slacks:
    Waist - 34-35ish
    Inseam: 28.5
    Cuff: 1.5

Also found one of the brightest Robert Talbott BoC I have ever stumbled across: Reminds me of a Robert Graham!

How could I not pick this up after what Spoo did a couple weeks ago. I know I won't get anything near that, but still. Made in Italy, peak lapels, hand stitching, slanted flap pockets with ticket pocket, and a psycho lining. (IF ANYONE RECOGNIZES THAT MAKER TAG, PLEASE LET ME KNOW)

^^^ I still can't figure out the maker of Kuhlman's tailored stuff. I think it's just some random Italian maker. Still, after learning the hard way about not even being able to give away current, really tasteful Kuhlman stuff, I just leave it behind now.

    Congrats, Barrel!!

Who makes J. Hilburn trousers? Made in Portugal, incotex?

I picked up a pair recently with plenty of hand stitched areas.

I thought Incotex when I saw Portugal as well, but they are missing some of the classic Incotex styling. They're nice pants, though I might have left them if they weren't obviously NWOT. I can never keep Hilburn and Lindbergh straight.

I'm 90% sure those aren't wood. They look like composite plastic to me.

    Congratulations @barrelntrigger !!!!

Haven't had too much to brag about this week, so nothing for me except for a flip brag

Straight thrift. Definitely one of those I-found-the-golden-ticket moments, when it takes all your willpower to just keep a straight face like nothing exciting just happened at all.
