I'm embarrassed to tell you that I didn't know there was a trade thread. Every trade for me has come from this thread.

In 2012 when I decided to redo my wardrobe, I bought 20-30 things off ebay. Every jacket needed 150 of alterations. So a $50 suit was costing $200 in alterations. After about $2000 in alterations and still fit compromises, I decided to find a tailor.

So now, m2m suits from a guy in dc with an awesome alterations tailor, shirts from cego, m2m pants or thrifted with alterations. Consequently, I don't really look at stuff for sale other than ties and the occasional pair of shoes. For aj and oxxford, I would buy online and then deal with the tailoring.

Good tip. Thanks. I need to start checking stuff out again.

All of them are great, but these take the cake.

Found this same pair twice, definitely my favorite PRL pattern. Hoping to one day find them in my size.

No doubt, I always pass if looking to flip because I figure it has no name recognition outside of the RVA. But they do make nice stuff.

Hey guys, am I remembering this wrong or not. BB Golden Fleece stuff made by Martin Greenfield has a MG on the tag and the non MG stuff has the same tag, just without the MG on it. Correct? Does anyone know what the other maker for BBGF is?

The current BBGF maker is southwick. Older models were also made by Isaia.

Wow, I was way off. Ok, so I don't mind passing on Southwick, Isaia would have been a different story however.

Current BBGF is made in Italy (MG recently lost the contract after quality control issues). Southwick, owned by BB, is used for the 1818 line.

Well, this was a recent(ish) made in the USA tux, tag said Golden Fleece "Hand Tailored". I swear I've seen the inner breast pocket label with the MG stamped on it here in the thread. This one though, did not have the MG on it.

edit: tag was same as this one: [IMG]

Also this heart breaker. No trousers anywhere to be seen, which is probably a good thing because I would have been so blinded by it's awesomeness that I would have bought it without noticing the multiple holes scattered about it. :fu: :fu: :fu:
