Super beat and about to start a movie but here's a big chunk of bow ties

Also, I love finding foreign currency in thrift clothes. Found this in a Zegna linen suit. Also found a 100% cashmere Paul Stuart vest. Good stop today.

I'm planning some pretty gth outfits for spring and summer with bucks and pastel chinos. If you think they'd work with it and they fit a 32 waist, I'll rock em.

Measurements work? length includes buckle. If so, PM me and yours.

Thanks for the advice. You know I think I'll pick a Saturday and make a thrift trip out of it and raid the whole city. :)

There was a sign with something about Bergdorf Goodman so I think it's a recent shipment from them. A lot of them had BG tags.

I was honestly thinking about picking up a few pieces to flip as a test-run. Boglioli would run me about 150, TFs aboout 1k, etc. Seems like a decent flip potential but with the high costs I want to tread lightly and slowly. BINs may sit around forever. Saks has one section that seems to be from Saks, everything else housebranded or normal stuff like RG, English laundry, etc. Current zegna ties would run maybe about 50 as well and I didn't look all too hard.

Shoes were disappointing though. Nothing special there.

I'd actually like to piggy back on this. Also a 38. Obv hooker gets 1st and 2nd and 3rd choice. :)

No idea, didn't check. I just happened to be at the mall for a new fridge so I just popped in. It was like heaven with a price tag.

Thanksguys! I was so stoked seeing all of these awesome pieces that I was constantly sweating like a pig! About 85% of the stuff was too small for me. I did end up coping a pair of Blue Blue selvedge, a 1968 military under jacket, NWT Lee 101 made in Japan selvedge sample piece, a Rage Blue sweat pants thingy, and something else I cannot seem to remember...[IMG]

    Anyhow, pics later.

FTFY, because next time you find a Sulka tie in that store, it will be way more expensive.

First rule of thrifting, do not educate the help.

Fair enough; but he started the conversation by commending me on my finds after walking by my cart and telling me how he picked up a NWT cashmere sweater after waiting and hoping for it not to be sold all day until he could buy it, so I was more trusting.

Right back at you. Still feel like I got the better half of that deal.

    Nice work.

    --

Plenty of good stuff today. RLPL shirt, Isaia for BB suit, BBGF suit, and a ton more.

    But the kicker was ....

the EXACT SAME -- down to the same size -- Paul Stuart spring-y tweed I sold out of my personal rotation about a month ago. For half of what I sold it for.

Guess I get to wear it one more time before doubling my money again.

    :D

I went to two thrifts, a bike shop and a Rack, and all I got was this cycling helmet (Specialized Evade). My old one was past it's expiry date, so I got a new one. Not thrifted, but I did get a decent discount.
