Hey all I just wanted to say Merry Christmas and Thank You. I started here pretty new to everything. I got excited by a beaten up Brooks Brothers tie and Nautica 3 button unvented suits. I learned a lot through trial and error and I've always received great advice here. It's a great community and I'm glad I can be some small part of it. Not only has everyone helped me understand quality, but also helped me develop my personal style by helping me understand style. Thanks all and I hope to be a bigger and better contributer to awesome finds in 2014, and look forward to all the amazing stuff to come from everyone else.

Spoo, I'd be curious to hear what you see that marks it as fake to you, (just to learn for future thrifts).

Hermes does not make self tipped ties, except for the scarf print series.
That label looks sewn on by a three year old
Hermes does not do classic neats and macclesfield prints
That label is indicative of the heavy silk and woven series, not a twill like that tie

    to name a few

Wow, did you take this from your blog or something? Looks neat.

Any genre with the " -Core" without any pig squeals is terrible.

Merry Christmas Thread. It's going to be a 70 degree day where I'm at....I hate our Cali winters.
