On my way to the tailor to pick up my recently thrifted BB brown tweed jacket, I stopped at the local shop. Lucky I did because I came upon this:

Not a perfect fit. Since it was only $4 I sprung for the $30 dollars to bring in the waist. Not that I needed a black blazer (I need navy!). Sleeves will be a hair short but I hear that is the style anyhow.

Emporio armani made in italy. My size. Not the best find ever, but I needed a grey jacket!

    What have we here?
Oh, it's just an unlined PRL 42R? Available!

    Functional throat latch.

This is the label. I couldn't find ANYTHING else on this jacket.

    And without further ado.
Size 50 Our Legacy Jacket. It fits me, but I'm open to offers.
    This thing is seriously gorgeous.

I think Spoo's first piece of advice to me was "It depends. It's brilliant if it's Kiton" regarding orphans. I couldn't find the pants, so I was only brilliant today.

Does that mean too big for me? Bummer, I've been looking for a tweed for a long time.

To the average person (99%) it looks fine, people are nit picky here on STYLEforum. The shoulders do fit you large, that should be your starting point.

The chest looked like it was pulling a bit. Tough to get a good look at fit from a photo like that, of course.

Also, a better dressed man than I once suggested avoiding patterned trousers with tweed, and I've always followed that advice.

Thanks for the tips fellas. The search continues for a tweed that fits my narrow-arse shoulders.

Also I hear you YRR92. No more patterned trou with tweed. Learning new things every day.
