hmmmmm....Ferrari or this one......In 100 people, 93 would want the ferrari and 4 out of the other 7 would have just wandered into the wrong line.

My daughter recently bought a Prius and my son-in-law ordered an NRA personalized license tag for it.

I'm sure the tag on that car gets some stares.

Is this the RL we've been looking for?

What?! What happened to the Mustang you had, you know the one in that one picture with that backwards hat...Haha, don't act like you don't remember!

    That is pretty bad ass.

OMG! Jean Shop! Please be mine!!!!!!

    Prada is real! Forealz!

Damn, that's so badass! I want your life!

I'm guessing the tail pipe? [IMG]
I think those Italian designer cars are too high end and aggressive looking for me. I prefer the low key look of the R33. But when shit goes down, BAM! Duces! [IMG]

. anyway, congrats on the toyota for your wife. looks nice.[IMG]

( i could get a ferarri 456 for $28,000 so it's not about the money)

Randomore: i say go with the CIVIC as suggested. or the FIT. for a cheap, well equipped pocket sized car that can fit a fully grown human inside.

HA! Comparing a Ferrari to a Skyline is like comparing a, well, I don't know, Giorgio Armani sport coat to a Sartoria Vincenzo Sferrella Udine sport coat. The latter will have most people even in the "clothes game" scratching their head and jumping on google. The only reason I know the latter is because I own 3 sport coats in that make at the courtesy of UNCLE SPOO!!! Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating but you get the analogy. These 3 sport coats are the most bad-assest jacket I've ever lay eyes upon!!! Will post thrift pic when I think I'm worthy enough...[IMG]

Anyhow, the point I'm making is of course 93 out of 100 people are going to know what a Ferarri is due to the fact that they are a world icon, and being one of the common ride of the rich and famous. You can easily identify that aggressive styling and sleek Italian designer monster burning down the road. Well, unless you are me who is a car noob thinking to myself, "Is that a Lambo?" [IMG]. Skylines, on the other hand runs under the radar unless you are into the street racing culture which is inherently lower key than the higher profile blah blah blah cup. I think they were designed to look like the every day car (again, being a car noob I would be thinking, "Is that an Accord?" [IMG] But even I know not to dis a Skyline because when the pedal meets the metal, BAM, have fun inhaling it's exhaust!

For me, the bottom line is all about the performance while maintaining a low key profile. The cops are welcome to pull over all the high profile sports car to their heart's content.
    Remember this beast?

Gotta love the odd parked Fiat 500. Way to park in crowded downtown.

This is beautiful, as I'm sure the Long Haul Trucker is as well. My rides are a one-off Look 595 (custom paint job made for Rock Racing) and a custom silver on black Rock Lobster cyclocross bike with steel frame.

    It's an Isetta...

You are so right. I know less than nothing about tuners.

For me, cars are depreciating assets so I tend to avoid spending money on them and when I do, I buy them so that when I sell them, my out of pocket is as low as possible. My best trade ever was a land cruiser I bought, drove for 5 years and sold for $1000 less than I paid. I would part with money for a 63 corvette with the split window, a 72-75 Jag convert....v12, a mid-sixties GTO convertible. I could also be persuaded to go for a mustang boss "eleanor", or restore a z28.

Before I started this thrifting, I was thinking of building an austin healy replica........

On cars, I admire the beauty and the performance, but for me, I want something that is comfortable, rides smoothly, has plenty of power, and will hold 2x4s and plywood when I need it to.

Though I do admit to thinking about buying the new f-type.

I would also like to observe that there are a bunch of insomniacs on this forum.
