One last find. And I'm not trying to increase my post count. I know sometimes there is interest in indian blanket type of designs. I picked up this woolrich. I need to have it cleaned and clean up the piling, but its pretty cool. best part is I was cursing the missing button, but it was in the pocket when I got it home.

How do you deal with the pilling? I have a Cowichan I'd like to de-pill before I sell. Just a lint razor or what?

Dont use a lint roll brush...I made that mistake and went through half the damn roll.

There are garment brushes that help with that, or electronic piling razors, or a sweater stone.

I grew up about an hour from Woolrich and always find it hard to pass up neat old vintage Woolrich pieces. Shame that most of their stuff these days is just Chinese junk. Pendleton is doing the same thing. Filson was going in that direction but it seems they are switching course now and going back to most USA made.

Found these at a Salvation Army in Dallas for $28. Not my size, but had to pick them up.

Quote:Nice shoes look like a size 12 or so. I'm pretty lucky i'm able to find a lot of nice shoes in my size, i'm a 9.5-10. $28 is a bit steep but thrifts have been steadily raising their prices lately it seems. Went in one of Baltimore's large thrift shops couple weeks ago to find that most of their suits were all marked at $79.99. Who is going ot buy a $80 Stafford suit at a thrift shop??

That Barbour is sweet. I think it was about this time last year that I snagged my Barbour Beaufort for $6 at a thrift. Haven't had the pleasure of seeing one since.

I picked up these Alan McAfee's on the way to work today. My size, so likely N/A.

Trying to figure out the maker now- anybody have any ideas?

"Interesting" finds of the last couple of weeks. Not the most valuable things, not the most CM things, but things that I like:

    '80s Barkley mesh:

From my '70s shirt find of a few months ago: still in its packaging.

Just cool: '70s hockey club jacket.

    '70s Arrow poly. disco shirt

    Danish BB overcoat:

I know this is a wrong thread, but I was hoping to get a quick answer. Does anyone recognize this tag?

    Finally some ties
It's been dry as hell neckwear wise since I found a drakes
    [IMG]
I've owned and flipped my fair share of grenadines but this is the first I truly thrifted its Donna Karan :/
And the other tie is the first true ancient madder I have found it is chalky and plump by jz Richards for a local mens store no idea who that maker is but I figured someone might want it and if not ill hang on to it
    [IMG]
    Plus my first Ben silver
I would have copped about 15 more mid tier ties but they are priced at $5 at this store :/
    ALL AVAILABLE
