Thrifted myself a trip to the Emergency Clinic tonight.

Some sort of skin infection, believed to be from an overdose of mosquito bites mixed with stagnant water.

My leg, could hardly walk by the afternoon.

This is apparently what happens when you spend $400 at thrifts on Friday morning, head out to play golf with your 3 best friends at 11AM, get hammered by Noon, and black out by 4PM.

I'm in the blue shirt.....and I have no recollection of this ever happening.

No...my buddy did. He is the one you can hardly see at the back of the jeep, covered in mud. The one standing next to me dared him to. Just to give you an idea, the jeep has 38" super swampers on it.

Does anyone know anything about a Japanese selvedge denim brand called ninny? Found a pair today seemed worth grabbing but I can't find a damn thing about it.

I stuffed my fingers into many pockets today, and withdrew nothing more than a fear of needles.

Scavenger hunt for charity starts tonight. Help us to demonstrate there is more to thrifting than how much an item is worth on the bay! Sign up!
Come on thrifters! Where is your sense of adventure? Where is your lust for the hunt! Did you all loose your competitive edge?

Amazing! How much?, if you don't mind me asking.

And now...back to your regularly scheduled challenge. If any contestant can beat me in this round, I will match the donation amount.

Still trying to stick to lunch time only. Although that hasn't really worked out well thus far.

Catching up after a 3 or 4 day hiatus - some great hauls lately! And the pic of Wes with the Jeep - cripes - good to hear it wasn't an accident...but still - that must have been some drinking binge!

Anyone have tips for Asheville NC and surrounding area thrifts? Appears that Patton Ave. has a decent concentration, but I'm betting they're all picked through what with all the hipsters and broke musicians & artists in that town.
