You can remove the sewing machine from the base and make a great table. We have one in our house.

I think Wes has a pair of size 17 loafers in his store. I was wondering which nba player donated those.

Toss, Keep, Toss, Toss, Toss...err...Keep, no I think I was right the first time, Toss.

Just my opinion. Feel free to tell me to shove it. :satisfied:

BTW, I liked the Hermes, fake or not.

And stop buying orphans. They take up too much closet space when you start to find more sportcoats. Ask me how I know. :embar:

And here I thought you might be distracted by your cataloging and might have missed it. Silly me.

Is the E Zegna Reverso tie worth going back to get? How would you even wear it? Does it have any value?

    Thanks for the info Spoo!

Ties are all for personal wear so I'll read your opinion then respectfully ignore it. [IMG]

I liked the Hermes too. I should have just taken the chance for .99 cents.

And I just got the one orphan! It was real nice fabric and had enough texture to it that it will work on it's own. I'll post when I get it back. I wish I had the problem of finding too many sport coats but the whole 46XL monkey arm thing makes me not too worried. [IMG]

The "feel" test led me to this. I am not familiar with the maker, but real nice wool and well made from what I can tell.

My nostalgic finds of the day, a USA made Izod Lacoste. Had the exact colored one in high school in the 80's.

Had a similar pair of the these too! Pair of USA union made boy scout pants complete with brass buckled belt. I can't remember what the brass attachment was used for though.

Sure, I would grab it and sell it personally. Why not?

How would I wear it? I wouldnt, but someone would!

Look at the front legs on the horse. When I posted 2 hermes ties a couple weeks ago I was told that authentic ties will show 2 front legs. Is there any truth to that?

I think we should start a beginners thrift thread box that contains a real item and a fake item of some oft questioned items. someone can request the box to be sent to them for shipping and personal inspection. Requesting party pays for shipping. We should take a donation of a damaged, unsellable, yet authentic item and tie it with the fake. Would be a hands on learning tool for noobs.

I call not it on being in charge of this.

We can call it the "tool" box.
