It's been really dry lately so most of these aren't brags. Also excuse the pictures my real camera is at work, old digi camera.

Also I'm still learning. If something probably wasn't a good pick up for a flip please mention so I can keep learning. Browsing through this forum has learned me a lot but I'm still refining.

To the tweed guy: Donegal is pretty good, I think. The others may disagree, but they are probably worth a pickup, if for nothing else than a trade on here.

I found a few Oxford shirts. None were the kit on kind. Fine quality, but heavily damaged, so I left them to die with dignity.

Found a nice denim shirt, is this a good one? Double RR Ralph Lauren Personally I like the 80's Levi's denim shirt style.

Love the metal buttons! Would this be called a chambray work shirt?

I forget. How many times each year do you have to get your car "inspected"? Six? Eight?

I'm the worst at this, but I'm reasonably confident that: a) Zegna is fake. Font is wrong and the symbol above it is wrong. Plus, during the era they were using the Z in a circle, they weren't putting the embroidered logo at the end of the tie. b) That's not grenadine. That is some kind of textured weave, but true grenadine is a more open weave, even the fina variety. My knowledge is fairly thin, but here's how I think of things: There are at least two different gren weaves: grossa (or large) and fina (or small, fine). Grossa is very hard to mistake. Big, open loops, almost like a knit tie. Like this: [IMG] Fina will be essentially the same weaves but will be much tighter, and the loops won't be as proud of the surface. Optically, it won't be dissimilar to yours, but you won't see the over/under that you can see in your weave. Also, even if smaller, the weave will retain an overall translucence if held up to the light (i.e., you will be able to see "pores" of light shining through from behind the tie). Unfortunately I don't have a pic. But it does remind me that I owe massive shouts out to lots of folks recently, including Namja and Nat for helping me fill out my grenadine rotation, as well as Nell, LeSacre, MZHams, Easy, Cesar, and Sacamore for awesome transactions.

Just to add to what GMMcL said:

I agree, I don't believe that is grenadine, but a better picture would help. Here are the two more common grenadine weaves next to each other

    Grossa Fina

There is also piccola and prometeo weaves, but I've never seen those in person.
