Never seen this white label before.... Age?? Not that it makes it special or anything.
Fully canvassed cotton "wash & wear" was kind of odd combo though.

Alright... I'm gonna try to keep up in here again, and I've actually been thrifting a little bit again. Let's see....

I e-thrifted this from eBay in preparation for Fall

Also e-thrifted this Trafalgar crocodile belt that wasn't listed as croc
    [IMG]

Thrifted this BB made in Italy with Vitale Barberis Canonico fabric. Between losing weight and BB's generous cuts this fits me

Picked up this really nice tweed from a no-name store brand... fully canvassed with a hand-stitched collar. Fits great.

I'd appreciate some feedback on these. I picked them up and they looked unworn but very dusty. After a good cleaning they look brand new. I'm thinking these are old Allen Edmonds when the Rancourts were making for them, but there's no brand tagging. They're mocassin construction with hand-stitching, a Vibram sole, and a beveled waist.

I picked this up today not thinking it would fit, but for some reason it does. Anyone know who makes in Italy for Dunhill?

Also picked up this J Crew unlined, unstructured madras, size medium but it fits like around a 40R, so too small for me

That BB Madison suit is really nice!
The Dunhill is made by Zegna (older label)..... I think.

They all look to say "grain" which would be a calf grain and not "genuine"

+1 on what Brianpore said. They are just embossed on calfskin to look like gator. Still, for $1 each I couldn't complain.

Hmmm....IDK...As much as I'm a fan of RRL, I can't help but to feel they are overrated...I've just picked up a RRL OCBD for above thrift prices and I'm just not thrilled with the quality...Shoot, call me a fan boy but I would just save the money and go through Gustin for a pair or two.

Cafe racer...As in cafe racer leather jacket like the ones Members Only makes? lol
    That's nice! [IMG]
Damn, seeing this makes me regret on passing on of these a few months back...
Welcome back, dude! I was wondering where you went!

I get a lot of these. The jackets do well on their own too, because of the casual styling. They were available in 2 button and 3 roll 2. With flap pockets, full patch pockets or flap patch like you have. I have seen them in tan, beige, gray and sort-of fatigue green. I assume there are blue ones out there, but have yet to see one. I have 5 or 6 right now. I even have one in the laundry room for a trial run. I think they are 1950'-60's but I have never been able to say for sure.

I found a very, very similar Polo Italy in a thrift. I too cannot wait for fall and just hope it gets cold enough down here to wear that all day everyday.

Very interesting, in the last couple months I've thrifted that same suit twice in like new condition. One gray and one blue with the Vitale Barberis Canonico in the Madison fit, same size...

I have a blue one in my closet. I don't often wear a suit, but when I need to, it's usually this one.

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG] Suit: PRL. It's a beige with a kind of quasi glenplaid with a lime green overcheck. Dual vent. Shirt: Ascot Chang, blue with green stripes Tie: Brioni, dark navy base with reds, creams, golds and greens Square: Unknown, madder silk with reds, greens and creams Braces: Brooks Brothers, burgundy Socks: Pantherella, burgundy wool Shoes: Santoni
Edit: 100% thrifted/discounted, obviously. By me or by others on here, then traded.

Awesome!! I myself have yet to embrace the cropped trou look, but am hoping to make it happen this winter with a few different pairs of pants.
