Get a plain white sheet (of reasonable count and thickness) or a throw to use as a barrier between the items and the surface underneath. Can drape on top of bed (on top of covers, I would hope), floor, table, etc. Also, buy a small reflector to increase the effectiveness of window light, or use one of those car windshield reflectors which are cheaper and work as well.

Can I shout out Shiny just to shout him out? He sent me some awesome boots sometime ago and they quickly became my favorite. I also went to 6 stores and 2 storage auctions yesterday..nada. I need to channel my inner Frenchy.

Last minute thrift stop before I head off to Vegas for a couple days!

Couple recent custom D/B suits that fit me like a glove. Made by a local high-end clothier who used to be a member on here.

Sure, when it comes time to copulate, everyone remembers the hole and the sheet, but don't forget this part, equally important, lest you ache to stir the sky, in all its fiery condemnation:

The times for conjugal duty prescribed in the Torah are: for men of independence, every day; for laborers, twice a week; for ass-drivers, once a week; for camel-drivers, once in thirty days; for sailors, once in six months. These are the rulings of Rabbi Eliezer.

I remember Marty. He did the most amazing store window displays. Is he still in business?

My sister just sent me this picture. Anyone know the age of this label? I found on AAAC that this model existed in 1967 but couldn't find much else.

Check out issuu.com. Search for Allen Edmonds. They have all the back issue catalogs. If you can get the four digit model number you can cross reference which years it was made. Should be prior to 1983 with that logo style.

Off the top of my head.

Good luck in Lawrence, I live there and if you're lucky you can prolly nab a few things. A few weeks ago, I nabbed a BB Golden Fleece in black from the Goodwill, fits like a glove, and a pair of Florsheim penny loafers that were a tad too small. Also quite a few nice shirts. There are a couple of places downtown on Massachusetts that are more "hipster" then anything but you might get lucky and snag something nice.

No creepers or super skinny trousers, but I did get this bad boy:

Just needs the body taken in slightly. Really pumped to wear this when NYC isn't an oven.
