Anyone got any good tips for taking photos in a small apartment? Went to take some yesterday and couldn't get any damn good oens in this small bedroom I'm renting in NYC. I see some people use kitchen tables but the lighting is poor there and I'd feel kind of like a dick for comandeering the kitchen (which is basically part of the living room in manhattan) for pictures of clothes. I want to post though -_- so badly that I'm thinking I may just have to do that. Don't really wanna use my bed or the floor, but if I have to I just may.

Edit: Wes, I need that Pendleton in my life.

I have a made in England RL shirt that I picked up at a MARSHALLS about 20 years ago. The label is the same purple color. It is a trim fit, much trimmer than the usual POLO fit of that era. The quality is excellent. The shirt has french cuffs and a contrasting white collar. The shirt is labeled a 16x34 but fits more like a 15.5. As you know the first RLPL stuff was made in England. CHESTER BARRIE made the suits and sport coats. Later on RALPH switched most of his purple label production to Italy.

    I'm so excited! [IMG]

I'm headed to a sartorial event tonight, which involves a men's consignment shop, the owner's birthday, free wine/ champagne, free food, and 50% off the entire store. I may be in trouble.

That "free" wine/champagne may end up being the most expensive hooch you've ever encountered.

Yes....but it will only be 50% as expensive.

Fortunately I already scoped out his inventory last week, so I hope to shop first, enjoy a drink....and leave before my purchasing judgement is impaired. Hoping to keep it under $1K.

For the most part true, but I still want to see/hear about BNWT AE's for $40. If folks post "mediocre" (not sure if that's a good thing to call it, perhaps "common" would be better), it is often, I think, with the intent of flipping. Can't stop that, but if that is the case, then call a spade a spade, include size information and if you want eBay prices, then post it on eBay or the classified section, not here. It's cool to score a pair of mint JMs (yes, we all have them in our closets, admit it) for $25, it's equally aggravating to have the holder ask $60.

Just wanted to give a shout out to SILVERWEARBANDIT for a quick, gnarly and painless trade. [IMG]

This might be the best thread on the entire forum.

:fistbump:  My sweet deal from the trade :D (leftofthedial's photos) [IMG] [IMG] Does anybody recognize the maker tag? I looked in HOF and this doesn't seem to match St Andrews, Attolini or Satoria Partenopea. [IMG] [IMG] ... sorry for the shaky photos, apparently a pot of coffee is too much coffee.
