A word that doesn't come up in conversation enough I suppose :D I was thinking of The Sopranos and the way they often say it. It's nearly identical to the way we say hair (Haar) in dialect. Hoor.

Not quite on Nataku level, but I had an epic haul today (for me at least).

Started off kind of slow with a few shirts - Patagonia organic cotton flannel M, RRL pearl snap M, Shades of Grey chambray XXL:

Found this vintage with tags Nike rugby with a handwarmer pocket - kindof like a hoody with no hood. Anyone know how old this might be?

A few other odds and ends - NWT commando sweater XL, Lands End green knit tie, LL Bean Maine Hunting Shoes size 9, Varvatos Mainline summer odd jacket 54
    [IMG]

Then found this Large vintage varsity jacket - NWT. Any idea on the age on this as well?

So far so good - then flipping through the racks I found this, which elicited a low whistle...
MTM Brioni navy suit, double breasted, 6 button front, surgeon cuffs, double vented, ticket pockets, super 150s, the works. This also marked my first ever successful orphan reuniting!

Oh and what's this? You have a brother on the rack?
MTM Brioni, brown with cream pinstripe, single button, surgeon cuffs, double vented, ticket pocket, pretty outrageous.

And to top things off, a pair of Martin Maison Margiela side-zip boots. Mainline, not the H&M version. Pretty sure these are the ones that retail for around $1,000?

Hooker, great stuff. I wish I could say I thrifted those Brionis, but only that Lands end tie. It's pretty great, though:

Couple Italian squares, designs a little dated but left behind a few others even more so. Surprisingly nice Paul Fredrick 7-Fold. Ancient Madder.

Liberty Of London for Cable Car Clothiers. Is this Grenadine, gentlemen?

Vintage Gitman Bros. for Nordstrom short sleeve in very springy colors. Might keep.

Alluring PRL Clayton and it's XXL cousin found later in the day.

I finally found a dressier cane. Perfect height. Brass fittings but the head, though hollow, is quite substantial. Could be bronze? I need a magnet...

And a shout out to 1ofTheCoolKids for a stellar shoe trade!!! [IMG]

I also love H.I.M., Biggie, and female vocal eurotrance. My music tastes are quite electic.

I bought one of the $550 ones and had a $20 off code from them...ended up about $100 shipped.

herringbone, rhodes and beckett and blackwatch Polo RL

only thing worthwhile today poasting about was this (not available):

    My first thrift fit (mostly)

    Brooks Brothers suit (Thrifted)
    Brooks Brothers shirt (Thrifted)
EZ Tie (Thrifted) (Not sure what is going on with the knot there, but lets pretend it is the beautiful 4-in-hand I imagined).

    AE Franciscans (AE Sale)

I am not sure on the fit, the pants break nicely in front but to me they ride up too high in the rear. As you can see from the gray in my beard I am kind of a traditionalist so I think pants should hit the top of the heel in the rear and break once in the front. Jacket sleeves may be okay may need to be let out 1/4", would need the waist taken in a bit. You can't tell in this picture, but the suit is a really nice Navy with a great pattern of light blue checks.

    Wow, nice haul!!

That Nike rugby should bring in some decent money. I'd say early 80's (1980-84-ish). The varsity jacket is probably late 70's to mid 80's.

Those MMM boots are killer! :bounce2:

Here's my contribution for today. It followed a theme of quality, not quantity. Both are currently unavailable.

NWT Mulholland Brothers leather backpack w/ dust bag.

Not MMM, but some nice Frye Oliver boots.

    Pretty good day today.

Kilgour bespoke, dated 2008. Not the absolute peak of the Row, but it fits like a glove, so happy with that.

Zegna DB charcoal chalk stripe, EU52. Bit big on me, if someone wants it.

Quite rare to find Castangia in Melbourne. This is a very nice navy pin stripe, size EU56
    [IMG]

Some nice silk pocket squares, including a NWT Paolo Albizzati
    [IMG]

Caron Troisiemme Homme shaving cream. Only a mini, and sadly not much left
    [IMG]

    NWT PRL socks
    [IMG]

Enzo Rossi messenger bag. The good lady has already pressed this into service.

Not at the op shops, but I grabbed this haul at a local perfumery sale.
L-R Dyptique Eau L'Ente, Tommi Sooni I tester, Parfums d'Empire Cuir Ottoman tester, Parfums d'Empire Fougere Bengale, Parfums d'Empire Azemour tester, Tommi Sooni II tester, John Richmond for men, Costume National Scent Intens

Prices were unspeakable. The Pd'Es were $15 for the testers and $10 for the sealed bottle. Deep discounts on the rest too.

And you are in Sweden, too! Do you ever see any residual HIM concert merch dripping over from Helsinki thrifts? :)
