Very nice. I would love a pair of these in 9.5 if anyone comes across any. I've written Florsheim asking them to reissue the model.

Woah. Catching up w/ this thread. Spoo, I just saw the Ferrari. They say "awesome" is an overused word. Your post is an example of that: you called us awesome. But to call your achievement awesome would be entirely appropriate.

The other great thing about it is that -- like when the four-minute mile barrier was broken -- we can now look forward to seeing other's dreams come true.

Corneliani is the only one that fits, the DG's and the Kris van Assche are just a bit too small, maybe 42ish.
They'll all be on the bay (except Corneliani) soon unless someone here wants.

Badass #1. I think just replace the buttons on the navy coat and you'll be good.
    Badass #2.
    Proxy for 40s, yes?!
Yip, that's a Caruso tag, alright!
    I think it's a bit much. Pass.
    Badass #4!
The D&Gs look all real from here! Good stuff especially the Kris van Asscheeks!

Guys, all of you, thank you. Im so appreciative of your support and if Ive inspired you to do the same. Without inspiration, youve got nothing.

And man, this article nearly brought me to tears. I dont even know what to say. When a life goal is achieved with something that you created yourself, there is really no greater feeling than that.

Last year, my wife and I visited the US. I had the goal of hitting the thrifts along the way and paying for the entire holiday. I am still selling off things I found last summer and ended up paying for about 90% of it. This year, I'm paying for the entire trip from my thrift account and my budget is considerably larger.

As anyone here knows, it's a lot of work to do this (if you're doing it right, that is), but it's great to see other people that have reached their goals. It helps me evaluate where I'm at, where I want to be, and put it all in perspective.

Very cool Paul Stuart suit. 40L. 93% wool, 7% cashmere. Grey/black houndstooth. Ticket pocket. No belt loops -- just adjustable side tabs. Side vents. Great condition. Doesn't look like it was worn much, if at all?

*Almost* fits me, but is about 1/2 inch too big in the shoulders. [IMG]

it'd be a Porsche 993 for me. car prices in Oz are almost double. sometimes, triple. on top of that, we don't have the population to find constant amazing finds; and to sell for decent coin is a different story.
