So I hit up a few stores after the snow yesterday.
Picked up a 90/10 cotton/cashmere RLPL shirt and Brioni shirt for myself which I dropped at the cleaners, and then I found these:

French Shriner Centurion shell cordovan PTBs. Couldn't find anything online about the age.
No size clearly marked, but the interior reads 385 635139 E 7, so maybe a 7E, but they seem bigger.
Doesn't seem to be #8 with age, but more brown/mahogany.
Available for trade, and any info appreciated.

    Thanks,
    O

Do they seem like an 8? UK 7 = US 8 (or there abouts). Learned that with a pair of JM Weston shoes in a 7.5, WAY WAY too big for me.

Did pick up these two ties which are available for trade.

GMMcL, this is all from the same store we hit, goes to show how variable a store can be on a week by week basis.

Records: 4 Elton John from the mind 70's, Sounds of Silence, Third Jackson 5 Album (pumped) and yes that is George Bushes autobiography, my parents would be so confused if they saw me reading this.

Cheers to that...when you make it home, I'd love to see some more pics of those Lobbs. I'd also like to see DanMs and hope neither are close to my size.

Edited to add: Good to see you in this thread again, you've been sparse here for the past week or so :slayer:

Shop just got turned out by four of us at the same time. Prices went up overnight, but so did the quality. Small time haul for me, bigger for the other guys. Get your popcorn poppers heated up.

Looks perfectly fine to me if you're going for that professor/academic look. I really like the tie more than anything. Having said that, if you're not comfortable in it, everyone else will be able to tell.

I like the look but would rock a different color tie. Something with more contrasting color and pattern.

    STORY TIME

So after my last class on Thursday, I hit up a few stores that I normally don't go to. Found absolutely nothing. Stopped by one last shop, which is a tiny charity shop in my town. Only thing I found was this for $2

Nothing special, just a BB toiletry bag. Opened it up once I got home, There is a small zip pocket on the inside. So I checked if there was anything in there, and there was. I saw a few dollar bills, but there was also a license. The license belonged to a super old dude from my town and had expired a few years before. I started to count the money to see how much was there, and what I thought were dollars, were hundreds. $400 fucking bucks!!! Since I had the dudes license, I at lest had to try and give it back. So I found his number online and gave it a call. His wife picked up, and told me that he had parkinson's before he died and would hide money in weird places. So I drove over to her house and gave her the money and she ended up giving me $100 as a reward. Felt pretty good about myself even though I gave up the four hundi, I still got about 50 times the amount i paid for the bag.

Anyway, since then I have had some pretty good luck....
