Let's see if I'm still in newbie-poster purgatory and have to wait 12+ hours for this to be visible [IMG]

Anyway, braved scabies and went in shoulder deep through the bins of winter hats and what-not the SVDP crew was apparently putting off. Worth it.

I had a nice tie haul yesterday as well. A recent Zegna for Nieman Marcus, a recent Ike Behar for NM. And 12 bow ties, mostly Robert Talbott/Carrot & Gibbs with one Brooks Brothers, one Burberry, and one untagged sprinkled in.

I'll have pictures tonight along with some other stuff.

My guess is it was a 48 L.

Edit: Missed the next post saying it wasn't, but if anyone is interested in a proxy on a couple Oxxford 48Ls, I know where there are a couple. Fit me like a glove except the jackets are tooooo long for me.

Wow, Wes, you are killing it on the ties, man! Lol, the W tie should match the W cufflinks you hooked me up with.

Slow week. Here are my other 2 finds. NWT Orvis L/S. shirt: [IMG] Oxxford Onwentsia 43R suit. I’ve only seen Oxxford orphans so this is my 1st full suit. On fence about keeping it. Pants need to be slimmed and coat could be taken in. However, it could be old. Tag says “S95” Could this be 1995? Lapels don’t look too wide or funky. tag is from trousers so it is worn out. Tag from pocket is a lot better, but is hard to get a pix of. [IMG]

I picked up a pretty awesome looking sort of "powder-egg blue" sport coat yesterday from a goodwill store for $4.95. I liked the way it hung on me. It might not need any alterations at all. It was just wrinkled up so I'll take it to the cleaners to get it drycleaned and pressed along with a dress shirt to see if the sleeves are OK.

I've got my fingers crossed for our Oilers this year. A short season for our young players gives us hope for the playoffs

We need an entire sub-forum. One thread for so many topics is sad and oblivious to the demand.
