I know it's less frequent for a seller to give a shotout, but big shoutout to Randy for being an all around awesome dude. Many of you may realize that I'm terribly slow at getting back to people, and he's been incredibly patient waiting well over a week (!!!) for me to get my shit in order, and then was way beyond fair when it came time to actually transact. Anyhow, buyers can often get overlooked when it comes to giving shoutouts, so I figured I'd give one where due. Similar shotouts to everyone else who's been patient enough to deal with my absentmindedness of late.

Also, my rendition of DM7's life:

I think DM7 just shitted on all of our thrift finds for the year... thank god he didn't post terribly ugly duffle coats, desks and dated ties. Now that's how thrift finds should be!!!!

This is Robert Graham correct? Just the lesser line?

I lose track of the thrift/discount thread for a week, only to find DM7's post. Then, as if that were not enough, he adds a supplemental post -- I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry! Miraculous finds! That velvet dinner jacket is delicious...

I'll join the chorus welcoming you back, and just note that those Borrelli shirts make my nuts hurt.

Maybe a precursor to RG's The Freshly Laundered Shirt (ie lower) line.
At any rate, probably not garish enough to do well.

Well, it was quite an eventful weekend...but unfortunately not in the thrifting department for me.

I played 2 rounds of golf, [IMG]
    6 hours of cornhole, [IMG]
drank 1 liter of Jack Daniels, [IMG]
lost all my thrifting money at the casino[IMG]
didn't win anything betting on the races either [IMG]
netted 5 1/2 hours of sleep all weekend [IMG]

Had an awesome time, closing the door on my best friend's bachelorhood.

NOVA is the loving nickname the Northern Virginians call home
LOL, Don't worry, I pillage that village weekly.[IMG]
No worries, I didn;t even get a chance to get to any VA stores. [IMG]
    Not this time...
    Maybe next time..
Sorry, bout that....I must have acidentally shipped it in that last package I sent you..[IMG]
    I just cracked my monitor...

Doing another juice fast in the next week or two after this wedding is over. Hoping to get down to 200 this time.

Completely different company trying to capitalize on consumer confusion. Often spotted at TJMaxx.

    Found these over the weekend:

The Loro is sized EURO 52 and the Malo Size EURO 54 but both measure 24" pit to pit and around 35.5 arm length (center of neck to arm end). I'd say closer they fit closer to a US 44 or 46. Too big for me. Currently Available:

And these - seem new, though I paid a lot more than I should have. Listed size 12 (which means 11.5 as they typically run small) Also available:

I went and saw my parents in the suburbs yesterday and popped into a Goodwill by their place for a few and came out with a decent haul of records.

Top Pic: Kiss - Rock and Roll Over, Dressed to Kill, Destroyer, Double Platinum, Ace Frehley solo record, Alive!, Dynasty

Bottom Pic: Angel - White Hot, Sinful, Helluva Band (Never heard of this band before but they were discovered by Kiss and on the same label as them. Mid 70's hair/glam metal stuff with some prog influence). Tools of Romance (private press record of a new wave/post-punk band from Dekalb, IL), Jimi Hendrix - Hendrix in the West, Blondie - Parallel Lines, Queen - Jazz, Metallica - Kill Em All, Jimi Hendrix - Cry of Love.

$25 - $30 BB ties? At a Goodwill? At my local Goodwill all ties are $3 each. Even for a consignment store, $25 - $30 for a BB tie sounds overpriced.
