Nice one! My size too, damn.

It's a holiday up here, so I haven't gotten around to posting details of my latest haul.

By which I mean, I haven't gotten around to going out to find my latest haul.

And yes, it is quiet, but I'm sure it'll soon be broken by DM7 in his newly thrifted Bentley.

In a perfect world: (1) these would fit me and (2) I would have somewhere to wear them.

I know. I just got home from work (11:00pm here) and expected 1000 unread posts. Well, I suppose it's a slow time of the year. It's weird though, I have been finding a few quality fall/winter items lately. I went out today and one of the employees that knows me and is incredibly nice had a hand rolled silk pocket square waiting for me. He said "I know you buy the silk ones and this is the only new one we had today." I was flattered that he held it for me.

I'm still waiting to find an Hermes scarf around here. The stores I frequent have baskets of scarves that I dig through for interesting items and I have yet to find one. I nearly always end up smelling like an old lady when I walk away though.

Picked up a recent BB tie.

Left some Gucci and Bottega Veneta shoes that were too pricey. I picked up A. Testoni's from the same place the other week for $9 and the BV's were $75

Hasn't been all that nice around here, but I'm always finding some cool stuff in my size:

    Shirts:
OG BR thick safari hickory stripe overshirt, 2x scott barber summer shirts (look to be NWOT)

    Ties:
    JPress (my first), BB
    [IMG]

Also does anyone here know anything about comics? I've looked these up but it seems like there's only a few that are selling on ebay.

Also finally get to use this!

Wow! A good friend of mine had a shirt just like that in the late 60's. He wore it to all the big rock concerts including Woodstock and the Incident at Kickapoo Creek. I recall his favorite trousers to wear with them were of the velvet orange paisley variety.

Things have been sloooooow around here. I did manage to scrounge up a few items today.

    - Vintage (40's?) fedora hat. Brown. Almost reminds me of a porkpie hat. From Wekony The Hatter in South Bend, Ind.

    - Brioni Cannes double pleated brown cotton trousers. 36 R (available)

    - Mountainsmith Back Country Express pack (available)

    - Zegna Sport flat front brown corduroy trousers w/ carpenter pockets. 36 (keepers unless someone really wants them)

    - Le Creuset light tuquoise "E" dutch oven. Inside bottom is very worn but the outside exterior and even the bottom are in nice shape.

The worst part of the day was a NWOT recent Zegna mainline tan/khaki suit. Side vented. 3 btn. No pants! Ugh! I never have luck finding separated suit pieces at this store for some reason. Every other location in the chain I have great luck doing so. It's just this one store. :fu:
