I put a fiver in a homeless woman's coffee cup, and it turned out she was just a ratty-looking NYU student.

    Posting here, too.

Bespoke DB midnight navy blazer made my PA Crowe in the winter of '72. February 1972 to be exact...

This jacket is crazy; big heavy naval buttons, peak lapels, dual exhausts, 2/3 working buttons, fully canvassed, hand sewn buttonholes and two lapel holes.

It fits me like a glove, and I'm 40.5"/41" chest. Measurements on request as well as more pictures. These were done on an older iphone downstairs in the basement. So apologies for the poor quality; the jacket is the nuts and pictures don't do it justice.

Only issues; a seam in the lining has come undone but that's an easy fix and one of the two internal buttons is missing (thankfully not the important one)

Love finding the most funky of Harris Tweeds. Ticket pocket, elbow patches.

I see my "No More Politics In This Thread" admonition worked like a charm. Strong work staying on brand, team.

I have met some intelligent people who work in thrift stores. However, there are times when thrift store employees do things that defy logic. Today's example of brainless activity comes to you from Big Saver thrift store in Birmingham, AL. While perusing the book section, I spot this:

$2.99 - 20%. $2.39 would be a decent price for just the book. However, while not full, it still had $10.25 in quarters on the inside. WTF was that employee thinking???

Indeed it is. That one is dated 1969. Looks to be in good shape too. Nice find!
